You want a website, you’d rather not pay monthly forever, and AppSumo has a pile of lifetime deals that say they can help. The catch is that “website builder” covers a lot of ground here. Some of these make a normal site. Some sell courses. A few only make sense if you already run WordPress. We haven’t tested any of them hands-on, so everything below comes from what the listings show and what they leave out.

Top Website Builders deals at a glance

If you want one place for a normal site

Grigora is the closest thing in this batch to a general small-business builder. At $69 (list $299) you get a site, a blog, newsletter sending and basic SEO under one login. Every tier includes unlimited blog posts, storage and emails, no Grigora branding, free SSL, a CDN and a custom domain.

Buyers rate it 4.68 out of 5 across 102 AppSumo reviews, which is the strongest signal of the bunch. They also mention thin template variety and slow support replies. AI images (750 credits) and blog posts (500 credits) draw from a monthly pool, and the plan table in the listing is unlabeled, so work out the column order before you pick a tier. The 60-day refund window makes a trial sensible.

Framekit is narrower. It’s built for photographers, filmmakers and artists, and costs $99 (list $228). Hosting and contact forms with email alerts are included, and you can describe a section or upload a reference photo for the AI to build from.

Two things give us pause. The AI credits are a one-time allowance (600 on the smallest tier), not a monthly refill. And there was no demo video, so the output quality rests on marketing copy alone. The $99 tier also appears to cover one site, with no custom fonts.

If you sell courses or memberships

This is where the most money is on the table, and where the listings are fuzziest.

OnlineCourseHost.com costs $99 against a $49 a month Pro plan, per the demo video. It takes no platform fees, so sales land in your Stripe or PayPal account minus processor fees. Community rooms, quizzes, assignments, drip emails and AI help are all in one place, and it holds a 4.48 average across 174 reviews. The weak spots are low caps on courses, websites and domains, limited customization, and a demo video that cuts off before it explains the lifetime limits.

Skillplate tries to do more. For $79 (list $948) you get courses, communities, memberships, a website builder and a basic CRM. Checkout and the members area can be fully branded. But there’s a platform commission on every sale, and the listing and demo video disagree on the rates. The table also seems to show lower tiers with more contacts than higher ones. We’d want both cleared up first.

CourseGlade LMS is a different animal: a WordPress plugin, $59 for one site, with no cut of your sales. Tiers cover 1, 5, 25 or 100 sites. The listing says little about quizzes, certificates or drip content. It also shows the deal ending 2026-10-27, which has already passed, so confirm it’s still on sale.

Specialist builders for one job

Row.so builds directory sites, from an AI prompt, a blank canvas or a two-way synced Google Sheet. At $79 (list $288), with tiers up to $269, it charges 0% on listing revenue and works with Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar or PayPal. Its Map Locator layout suits store-finder style projects. It’s no Squarespace replacement, and the listing is silent on AI limits, traffic caps and product history.

DRAFTLY turns a prompt into a scroll-driven 3D site and exports HTML, Tailwind CSS and JavaScript that you own. It’s $79 (list $120). The AppSumo rating is 1.00 from 5 reviews, and the listing never says what a credit buys. Unless you’re a designer who wants striking landing pages, we’d wait for more evidence.

If you look after WordPress sites

WP Reset Pro at $49 (list $158) is cheap insurance for freelancers. Its Emergency Recovery Script works even when wp-admin is locked out, and automatic snapshots before plugin and theme changes are stored off-server. The vendor’s own FAQ says it doesn’t replace a conventional backup plugin, so don’t buy it expecting that. The tier limits are laid out confusingly too.

SiteSkite starts at just $29 (list $36) but only covers one site on that tier, with no AI site builder. The higher tiers work out to roughly $8 to $14 per connected site, which could undercut monthly care tools if you manage 10 to 70 sites. Only 4 reviews, though, so the product looks young.

Who each tool suits

One stray entry: METODIC turns a one-line brief into a workshop agenda, worksheets and a facilitator guide. It’s useful for consultants who run sessions often, but it isn’t a website builder. Tier 1 gives 25 AI credits a month and 3 session leader seats, and it has only 3 reviews. Skip it for this category.

Why each one made the list

  1. Grigora: $69 gets a site, blog and newsletter with unlimited posts, no Grigora branding and a 4.68/5 average across 102 AppSumo reviews.
  2. Framekit: $99 includes hosting and contact forms with email alerts, but the 600 AI credits on the smallest tier are a one-time allowance.
  3. OnlineCourseHost.com: $99 replaces a $49 a month Pro plan, per the demo video, with no platform fees and a 60-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Skillplate: $79 covers courses, communities, a site and a CRM, but the listing and demo video disagree on commission rates.
  5. SiteSkite: Tier prices work out to roughly $8 to $14 per connected site, though the product has only 4 reviews.
  6. WP Reset Pro Plan: $49 adds an Emergency Recovery Script that works when wp-admin is locked out, but the FAQ says it isn't a full backup plugin.
  7. CourseGlade LMS: $59 for one site takes no cut of course sales, but it needs WordPress 6.4+ and PHP 7.4+.
  8. Row.so: 0% platform fee on listing revenue, with Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar or PayPal, starting at $79.
  9. DRAFTLY: Exports HTML, Tailwind and JavaScript you own, but the AppSumo average is 1.00 from 5 reviews.
  10. METODIC: It builds workshop agendas and worksheets from a one-line brief, and Tier 1 gives only 25 AI credits a month.

Frequently asked questions

Are these lifetime deals risky for a small business?

Some carry more risk than others. Grigora and OnlineCourseHost.com have 102 and 174 AppSumo reviews, while DRAFTLY has a 1.00 average from 5 and SiteSkite and METODIC have only 4 and 3 reviews. Young products with thin review counts deserve a smaller bet, and a refund window helps.

Which of these deals have a refund window?

Grigora, OnlineCourseHost.com, Skillplate and METODIC are listed with 60-day refund or money-back terms. The other listings don't state terms in the details we have, so check them before you pay.

Can any of these run an online store?

Not really. Framekit's listing shows no ecommerce, and Row.so is aimed at paid directory listings, not general shops. Grigora's listing doesn't promise large-scale ecommerce either. If a store is your main goal, none of these is a clear fit.
