ResumeUp.AI Review: A $49 Lifetime Deal Built for Job Seekers
ResumeUp.AI is an AI resume builder, ATS checker and job tracker sold on AppSumo from $49. Here's what the listing says, what it leaves out, and who should buy.
Six HR and hiring lifetime deals from $49 to $99, grouped by need. The listings don't mention payroll, and most are young products with caps to check.

| Tool | Suits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| BusinessHRM | For remote teams under 40 | $69 |
| Pitch N Hire AI-Native ATS | For occasional hirers needing ATS | $49 |
| CosmoQuick | For posting jobs widely, cheaply | $49 |
| Qualivio | For freelance recruiters screening CVs | $69 |
| PhoneScreen AI | For a few hires yearly | $99 |
| Role.so | For recruiters with an ATS | $79 |
Before you pick a lifetime deal here, decide which job you need done. You might want to manage the people you already employ, or you might want to find the next one. Almost everything in this group is about the second job.

One thing up front. This is the HR & Payroll category, yet none of the six listings say anything about running payroll. If that’s why you’re here, these won’t cover it. We haven’t tested any of them hands-on, so everything below comes from what the listings show.
BusinessHRM is the only deal aimed at the team you already have. It costs $69 against a $249 list price and puts HR records, attendance, tasks and performance check-ins in a single database. Stackable codes scale to 40 team members and 100GB of storage. It connects to Slack, Google Workspace, Zapier and an API.
The catches are real. There are no direct imports yet, so moving your data over is manual, with support’s help. Seat and storage caps are tight at the entry tier, and the listing’s tier table is ordered in a confusing way.
There’s also no demo video, and the listing says little about what its nine modules do. We’d call it a fit for a small remote team happy to experiment. It’s a poor fit for a company that wants a vendor with a long track record.
Two $49 deals sit here, and they’re close enough that the details decide it.
CosmoQuick lists at $789 and says one job post goes out to 100+ channels. It also includes a built-in ATS and unlimited AI shortlisting, plus phone and email support. That sounds generous, but the listing doesn’t name the channels or say whether any cost extra. Posts are capped at 100, with no word on over what period. It’s also compared to BambooHR, which stretches things, since it isn’t an HR suite.
Pitch N Hire lists at $299 and is a plainer ATS with pipelines, a career site, forms and scheduling automation. Tier 1 allows 50 jobs per month, which is plenty for most small teams. You can switch between the two license tiers, so $49 is a low-risk way to try it.
Its weak spot is vagueness. AI credit allowances and seat counts aren’t spelled out, the resume parser and CSV import run on credits with no stated allowance, and the integration lists conflict. With no demo video to check against, treat those integrations as unconfirmed.
If you want a career page and a tracker you can reason about, Pitch N Hire looks tidier. If reach across job boards is the point, look at CosmoQuick, but ask which channels are included first.

PhoneScreen AI phones candidates, scores the call and keeps a recording. You write your own questions per role, so everyone gets the same screen, and interviews run in 34 languages. Failed, missed or voicemail calls don’t use up a screen, which is a fair rule.
The $99 price buys only 20 phone screens and 200 resume analyses in total, with no refill. Calls work for US and Canadian numbers only, and Reference Agent isn’t included because it needs a paid Pro plan. For a handful of roles a year, that’s fine. Screen in volume and it runs dry fast.
Qualivio works on paper instead of by phone. It scores CVs and LinkedIn profiles against your criteria and flags strengths and concerns. It imports CVs, LinkedIn profile URLs and CSV files, and shortlists export to XLSX or CSV or can be shared by link.
Tiers run from $69 to $249, and even the top one has monthly caps on AI analyses, sourcing runs and emails. LinkedIn extraction credits are a separate add-on with no price listed, and the plan table is confusingly ordered. On the plus side, candidate data is hosted in the EU and deleted automatically after 24 months, which matters if you recruit in Europe.
This reads as a freelance recruiter’s tool more than an in-house one. Check how the tiers map to seats and limits before paying.
Role.so targets a smaller irritation, the bland PDF. It builds branded candidate pages and tracks views, reading time, sections and scroll depth. It sits alongside an existing ATS through Zapier, Make, Integrately and webhooks.
Tiers run from $79 to $399, against a $270 list price. The listing points to the $199 tier for most small teams, and that makes sense. The mid tier includes a custom domain, a careers page and webhooks, while Tier 1 limits you to 10 active candidate packs, one seat and no custom domain.
It isn’t an ATS, so it adds a tool instead of replacing one. Design controls like typography and layouts are still only on the roadmap, and we found no demo video or customer results. If you hire once or twice a year, skip it.

A $49 price is easy to say yes to. Still, it only pays off if the caps fit how often you hire, so write down the limits for your tier and check them against the listing’s table before you buy.
None of the six listings mention running payroll. BusinessHRM is the closest, covering HR records, attendance, tasks and performance check-ins, and its verdict says to skip it if you need payroll. You'd still need a separate payroll tool.
Pitch N Hire and CosmoQuick both cost $49 and include an applicant tracker, so they're the low-risk options. PhoneScreen AI also fits if you can live with its 20-screen allowance and US and Canadian numbers.
Write down the caps for your tier, such as seats, storage, job posts or monthly analyses, and note what's missing. Several of these listings have no demo video, confusing tier tables or unclear limits, so a low price doesn't replace reading them closely.
