Million Dollar Email Templates 2.0 Review: Free Swipe File Deal
A look at AppSumo's own email template library, now listed at $0 as a lifetime deal. What you get, what's vague, and who should grab it.
LeadSnipper is a sending-only cold email tool with big volume caps. Utobo Email covers cold, newsletters and API mail in one place with smaller caps.

LeadSnipper takes 2 rounds, Utobo Email takes 3.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly sending volume | LeadSnipper | LeadSnipper allows 10,000, 50,000 or 150,000 emails a month by tier, while Utobo Email stops at 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000. |
| Deliverability protection | LeadSnipper | LeadSnipper builds Reoon verification and auto-pause guardrails into the send flow, though the listing gives no thresholds or verification limits. |
| Range of email jobs | Utobo Email | Utobo Email covers transactional API, broadcasts, drip and cold outreach on one contact list, while LeadSnipper only does cold sequences. |
| Lead sourcing | Utobo Email | Utobo Email includes 100 verified B2B leads a month on every tier, while LeadSnipper has no database and says to bring your own. |

| Early buyer feedback | Utobo Email | Utobo Email shows 7 AppSumo reviews averaging 4.86, which is a small sample, while the LeadSnipper source shows no reviews at all. |

Say you’re about to start cold outreach and you want to pay once instead of adding another monthly subscription. Two AppSumo lifetime deals look like they fit: LeadSnipper and Utobo Email. They overlap on cold sequences, but they aren’t the same kind of product, and the difference decides which one you should buy.

LeadSnipper does one job. You connect your own inboxes, import leads, run multi-step sequences and let the software spread the volume across senders. That’s it. The listing’s own FAQ says it’s not for newsletter teams and doesn’t replace a contact database.
Utobo Email goes wide. It covers transactional email through a REST API and SMTP relay, broadcasts and newsletters, drip automation, and cold outreach, all on one shared contact list. The listing says you can start with just one of those four pillars.
So the question isn’t really which tool is better. It’s whether you want a focused sending engine or one login for every kind of email your business sends.
If cold email is the main job, LeadSnipper has the more serious pitch. Reoon verification runs before anything queues and is meant to strip invalid, catch-all, spamtrap and disposable addresses. Auto-pause guardrails are meant to stop a sender before a bad batch hurts your domain. Inbox rotation, volume split and Spintax round out the sending side.
That’s a strong list. But the listing doesn’t say whether verification has a credit allowance or a monthly cap. It doesn’t give the auto-pause thresholds either, or say what happens to a half-sent campaign when a sender gets paused. Treat these as claims, not proof.
Utobo Email’s cold side is thinner on paper, but it covers the basics. You connect Gmail, Outlook or IMAP/SMTP mailboxes, warmup runs automatically on every plan, sequences stop when someone replies, and replies land in a unified inbox. It also scores SPF, DKIM and DMARC and suppresses bounces automatically.
What Utobo doesn’t mention is list verification before sending. That’s a real gap if you’re importing stale lists. LeadSnipper, for its part, mentions warmup only in an FAQ and never describes it. Ask about that before you buy.
Neither source offers any inbox-placement data, so neither can claim a result. Cold email carries risk whatever you pick.
This is where Utobo Email pulls ahead. The AI writer, powered by Google Gemini, drafts subject lines, body copy and follow-ups from a prompt. There are templates, drag-and-drop editing, HTML templates and a spam-risk score before each send. You get 100 verified B2B leads a month on every tier, which is a small amount but better than nothing.
The transactional API matters if you’re a SaaS founder. Receipts and password resets can go out through the same account as your marketing, with official SDKs for Node.js, Python, Go and Ruby and 90 days of send logs. The listing also promises a degraded mode that keeps you sending at reduced capacity instead of suspending you. It sounds good, but the listing doesn’t define what reduced capacity means.
LeadSnipper’s extras are narrower and aimed at agencies. Per-sender reporting shows you which inbox is dragging things down, and PDF exports help with client reports. Google Sheets sync enrolls new leads automatically, so you aren’t re-uploading CSVs. Replies get categorised with sentiment detection.
Set those side by side and Utobo is the better value if you need more than cold email. LeadSnipper is the better fit if you don’t.

Both deals have three tiers, a 60-day activation window and the right to switch tiers later. The caps are very different.
LeadSnipper’s tiers are $39 (10,000 emails a month, 5 senders, 5 domains, 1 workspace), $79 (50,000 emails, 20 senders, 115 domains, 3 workspaces) and $159 (150,000 emails, unlimited senders and domains, 10 workspaces). The $39 tier has no Google Sheets sync and no multi-sender volume split. That’s the headline feature, so I’d skip it. The $79 tier is the one to look at.
Utobo Email’s tiers give you 5,000 emails and contacts a month, 3 mailboxes, 10 domains, 3 sequences and 1 seat for $49. The middle tier gives 10,000, 10 mailboxes, 25 domains, 10 sequences and 3 seats. The top tier gives 25,000, 25 mailboxes, 50 domains, unlimited sequences and 5 seats.
The Utobo prices need a warning. The plan table says $129 and $229 for tiers 2 and 3. The review text says $119 and $219. We went with the plan table, but check the AppSumo page before paying. The listing also runs its features from the highest tier down, so we matched the columns using the FAQ answers on mailboxes and domains.
On raw volume per dollar, LeadSnipper wins easily. Its $79 tier sends five times what Utobo’s $49 tier does. Utobo counts every email, whether API, broadcast, automation or cold sequence, against one monthly cap, while warmup emails don’t count. So if you also send newsletters and receipts, your real cold-email room shrinks.
LeadSnipper’s listing contradicts itself. The feature text promises unlimited mailboxes, but the plan table caps senders at 5, 20 or unlimited. It says API and webhooks are coming soon, yet the table lists custom webhooks on the top tier. PDF export is shown on tiers 1 and 2 but not tier 3, which looks like an error. It also advertises a paid managed AWS SES service for heavy senders with no price. Several features are marked as coming soon.
Utobo’s problem is evidence. The demo video is a founder introduction, and the transcript falls apart into repeated lines, so we can’t see the interface or a real campaign. The AppSumo review summary is marketing copy. It does mention limited onboarding guidance and a form builder that was missing at first and has since been added. Seven reviews averaging 4.86 is encouraging, but it’s a small sample.
Both are young products. A lifetime deal only pays off if the vendor is still around in three years, and neither listing can tell you that.
Buy LeadSnipper’s $79 tier if you already have a lead source, send from several domains and care mostly about volume and domain safety. Skip it if you need newsletters, a database or a CRM, or if you only send a few dozen emails a week.
Buy Utobo Email if you’re a solo founder or small team that wants cold outreach, newsletters, drip and app email under one roof. Its $49 tier is a cheap experiment if 5,000 emails and 3 mailboxes are enough, and the 60-day window gives you time to check. Skip it if you’ll quickly outgrow 25,000 emails a month.

If you only need cold email and you send a lot of it, LeadSnipper is the better fit. Otherwise, Utobo gives you more for the money.
Only Utobo Email does, and it's small: 100 verified B2B leads a month on every tier. LeadSnipper says plainly that it has no contact database and you import leads from Apollo, LinkedIn, a CSV, Clay or a CRM sync.
Utobo Email. It runs broadcasts, newsletters and drip sequences. LeadSnipper's own FAQ says newsletter teams are better served by Mailchimp.
For LeadSnipper, the $79 tier is the sensible one because the $39 tier lacks multi-sender volume split. For Utobo Email, the $49 tier is a cheap trial if 5,000 emails and 3 mailboxes fit. Both deals let you switch tiers and give you 60 days to activate.
