Creator Insights vs SocialBu: Idea Engine or Everyday Scheduler
Both are $49 social media lifetime deals on AppSumo. Creator Insights helps you research and repurpose. SocialBu schedules, reports and handles the inbox.
Design Instantly covers Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest on lifetime tiers from $59. Pin Generator goes deep on Pinterest, but only its $297 tier is lifetime.

Picture a store owner with a few dozen products, a Pinterest account that went quiet in the spring, and an Instagram feed that only gets attention when orders slow down. The chore isn’t hard. It’s the weekly repetition that slips. Design Instantly and Pin Generator both try to take that repetition off your plate, but they go about it in different ways.

We haven’t tested either one. Everything here comes from the AppSumo listings, and neither has a demo video attached, so read this as a comparison of claims.
Design Instantly is a general social tool with an ecommerce lean. It connects to Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce, imports your products, and creates posts for Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. Its Autopilot mode publishes on a frequency you choose, in a brand voice you define once.
Pin Generator does one thing. It makes Pinterest pins, in bulk. You paste a website URL, it pulls images and text, and it produces several pin designs, with AI filling in the required fields.
So the first question isn’t price. It’s whether you want three networks covered thinly or one network covered hard. If Pinterest is where your customers find you, Pin Generator is the more focused answer. If you want a steady presence across a few feeds, Design Instantly fits better.
Design Instantly gives you a calendar with drag and drop scheduling, an exact date and time modal, and separate caption customisation for each of the three networks. You can switch Autopilot off and work by hand whenever you like. That’s a sensible safeguard, because plenty of owners won’t want posts going out under their name unchecked.
Its odd extra is a Chrome extension called Recreate. You hover over an image on Pinterest, Instagram, the Meta Ad Library or a website, click, pick your product, and it generates a similar style with your item in it. There’s also a copyright grey area the listing never mentions, and you’d be the one answerable for what you publish.
Pin Generator’s pitch centres on volume. It offers bulk scheduling, AI images or an image templating system, and imports of your own templates, including Canva ones. That last point matters if you care about pins looking like your brand rather than like everyone else’s.
It also claims automatic keyword research using real Pinterest keyword volumes, with the best keyword chosen for each pin. That’s the most interesting idea in either listing. AppSumo’s own review summary, though, flags limited keyword visibility, so you may not be able to see much of the reasoning. It also mentions weak AI rewrites of titles. Plan on editing titles yourself.
Here the two listings are very different, and Pin Generator needs the slower read.
Design Instantly sells three lifetime tiers: $59, $149 and $299. All include future plan updates. The listing shows a list price of $0, which tells us nothing about the savings, so don’t take any discount figure from it.
Pin Generator’s tiers are $99 (was $200), $198 (was $400) and $297 (was $600). Only the $297 tier is lifetime. The other two are one year of access. The headline $99 is a one-year subscription, and we think the framing is a bit slippery.
If you wanted a lifetime deal, the fair comparison is $59 to $299 for Design Instantly against $297 for Pin Generator. The cheapest true lifetime entry is much lower with Design Instantly.

Design Instantly splits its limits in two. Template-based standard generations renew monthly: 300, 1,000 or 3,000 depending on tier. AI credits are a one-time pool of 500, 1,500 or 3,000, and each recreated image costs 4 credits. That works out to roughly 125, 375 or 750 images in total. Ten recreated images a week would drain the smallest pool in about three months.
The listing doesn’t say whether you can top up credits. For a lifetime buyer, that’s a real hole.
Pin Generator is harder to read. The plan table lists several pin credit figures, including 3,000 a month for life, 2,000 a month for one year, and 600 a month for one year, without clearly matching them to tiers. The safest reading is 3,000 monthly for the lifetime tier. It also doesn’t say what counts as one credit or what happens at the cap, so confirm on the AppSumo page before buying.
On accounts, Pin Generator is more generous. Every plan allows unlimited linked Pinterest profiles. Design Instantly limits brand workspaces to 1, 3 or unlimited, so the $59 tier will box in anyone managing client stores.
Pin Generator has a track record the other listing lacks. It shows 4.37 out of 5 across 93 AppSumo reviews, and a 60-day money-back guarantee is mentioned in AppSumo’s summary. Reviewers praise the bulk creation and multi-account use. That’s a decent sample, though the summary is marketing copy.
Design Instantly’s listing gives no review data and no demo, so we haven’t seen the editor, the template quality, or how Autopilot captions read. The brand voice claim that posts never sound generic is a claim, nothing more. You do have a 60-day window to activate your license, and you can move between its three tiers.
Both tools are young products, and a lifetime deal is only worth what the tool does in three years. Neither listing says anything about roadmap.
Pick Design Instantly if you sell on Shopify, Etsy or WooCommerce and want Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest handled on a schedule. The $59 tier is a low-risk entry for a single store. Move to $149 or $299 only if you need more workspaces. Skip it if you need X, LinkedIn or TikTok, or deep analytics, since the listing mentions neither.

Pick Pin Generator if Pinterest already drives your traffic and you have a big archive of posts or products to turn into pins. Budget for $297 if you want lifetime access, and use the refund window to load your own site and check the pins and titles before you settle. If you only pin now and then, a free design tool and twenty minutes a week will do the same job for nothing.
Design Instantly review · Pin Generator - Automated Pinterest Marketing review
Design Instantly is lifetime on all three tiers ($59, $149, $299). Pin Generator is lifetime only on tier 3 at $297. Tiers 1 and 2 are one year of access.
Pin Generator, going by the listings. It builds pins from a URL, claims keyword research, allows unlimited Pinterest profiles and imports Canva templates. We haven't tested it.
Design Instantly's AI credits are a one-time pool of 500, 1,500 or 3,000, at 4 credits per recreated image. The listing doesn't say whether you can buy more. Pin Generator's credit allowance is unclear in its table.
