Creator Insights vs SocialBu: Idea Engine or Everyday Scheduler
Both are $49 social media lifetime deals on AppSumo. Creator Insights helps you research and repurpose. SocialBu schedules, reports and handles the inbox.
Both turn Instagram and Facebook comments into DMs. Chat33 adds a flow builder and publishing at $199 a code. Komently starts at $69 and has Rewind.

Chat33 takes 3 rounds, Komently takes 3.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Flow building and templates | Chat33 | Chat33 lists a live phone preview, A/B splits, six templates and a one-reminder follow-up, while Komently's listing shows only a setup wizard. |
| Catching comments you already missed | Komently | Komently's 7-Day Rewind DMs people who commented in the past week; Chat33's listing mentions nothing similar. |
| Lead capture | Komently | Komently collects emails and phone numbers in the chat and can require an email first; Chat33's listing has no email gating. |
| Publishing beyond DMs | Chat33 | Chat33 publishes to six networks (X costs $0.04 per post), while Komently's listing mentions no publishing at all. |
| Entry price | Komently | Komently starts at $69 against $199 for one Chat33 code, though Komently's tier table is hard to read. |
| Clarity of limits | Chat33 | Chat33 states contacts, channels, seats and overage rates per code; Komently's columns don't line up with its tier prices. |

You post a reel, tell people to comment “GUIDE”, and by evening a few hundred have. Each of them is waiting on a DM with your link, and every hour of silence costs you a few more. That’s the problem Chat33 and Komently both go after, and both sell it as a lifetime deal on AppSumo.

Both watch Instagram and Facebook comments for a keyword and DM the commenter automatically. Both handle story replies, keyword DM auto-replies and an ask-to-follow step before the link goes out. Both need an Instagram Business or Creator account. And both list Buffer and Hootsuite as alternatives, which is a stretch for each of them.
So the real question is which extras you’ll use. Chat33 adds a flow builder, content publishing and revenue tracking. Komently adds retroactive DMs, lead capture and a much lower entry price. Everything here comes from the listings, because we haven’t used either tool.
The flow builder is the clearest advantage. You get a live phone preview, buttons, quick replies, images, carousels and an A/B split inside a flow. There are six templates, and Sell From a Comment is the one most small shops will start with. Pick it, type your keyword and link, switch it on. You can also set up to 15 public reply variations, so the replies under your post don’t read like copy-paste.
The follow-up reminder is a smart touch. A second DM goes out hours later, only to people who didn’t click, and clickers get tagged automatically. The listing says “one reminder” every time, though. It doesn’t say whether you can add more or how the delay is set, so ask before you build a funnel around it.
Chat33 also publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn. X posts run on pay-as-you-go credits at $0.04 each. But the listing says nothing about a content calendar, queues or approvals, which is what people actually pay Buffer for. I’d treat it as a bonus publisher, not a scheduler replacement.
Revenue tracking is advertised too. The listing doesn’t explain how sales data gets in, whether by store connection, pixel or manual entry. If you run a shop, that’s the first question to ask.
The feature to look at is 7-Day Rewind. Most comment tools only catch comments that arrive after you switch them on. Rewind sends DMs to people who commented in the last 7 days and can pick out commenters who never got a message. If you tend to post first and build the funnel later, that’s a real fix, and Chat33’s listing mentions nothing like it.
There’s a catch. Komently says Rewind is exclusive to paid plans and doesn’t say how that maps to each lifetime tier. Confirm it covers the tier you’re buying.
Lead capture is the other edge. You can collect emails and phone numbers inside the conversation and require an email before someone gets your content. Action Cards give you button-based DMs. Neither listing explains how to export leads, and Komently’s only listed integrations are Facebook and Instagram. Expect to copy emails into your newsletter tool by hand unless the seller says otherwise.
Komently also stresses that it uses Meta’s official API and calls shadow-ban risk zero. I’d read “zero” as marketing, since Meta sets the rules. Chat33 says it was approved as a Meta tech provider, which is a comparable signal.

Chat33 is $199 per code. That buys what it calls the full Pro plan, normally $49 a month: 5,000 active contacts a month, 20 connected channels, 5 seats, 20 GB of storage and unlimited flows. Codes stack up to 10 with no volume discount, so ten codes cost $1,990 for 50,000 contacts.
The contact cap is the part to watch. Go over it and you can stack another code, pay $0.012 per extra contact ($12 per 1,000), or let automation pause until next month. The listing doesn’t define an “active” contact, so a viral post could stall your flows at the worst moment.
Komently has three tiers: $69 (listed at $178.99), $149 and $650. Its feature table is where I get stuck. It shows accounts as 15 / 1 / 3, automations as Unlimited / Unlimited / 20, and AI conversations as 450 / 90 / 0. Those columns don’t line up with the price order in any sensible way, and the FAQ mentions a Pro plan with 5 accounts that isn’t a lifetime tier. I won’t guess which column is yours. Check the page before paying for anything above $69.
What we do know is that account limits are shared across both networks, so one Facebook Page plus one Instagram profile uses two slots. The listing doesn’t mention a contact cap at all, which could be good news or just a gap.
For a single account, Komently’s entry price is about a third of Chat33’s. Chat33 is the one that tells you plainly what each purchase includes.
Both products are young. In the demo video, Chat33’s founder says he built it alone in 10 months, and that since launching in October there are 100 users, 18 customers and $2,000 in revenue. I like that he’s upfront. But a lifetime deal is a bet that one person keeps paying for infrastructure and support for years.
Komently has six AppSumo reviews at a perfect 5.00 average. That’s encouraging and also a small sample. There’s no demo video, and AppSumo’s own summary, which is marketing copy, flags limited platform integration and some initial setup confusion. That summary also mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee, which makes the $69 tier a fairly low-risk trial.
Chat33’s listing gives you 60 days to redeem each code but doesn’t spell out refund terms. Look at the AppSumo page before you buy.
Choose Komently’s $69 tier if you already get keyword comments, answer them by hand, and want to start cheaply. It also suits you if you’d like to DM people from posts that already took off. Verify the account limit and Rewind access on your tier first.
Choose Chat33 if you sell through Instagram or Facebook comments and want funnel tools: A/B splits, a reminder for non-clickers, templates and a flat price that doesn’t grow with your contacts. Buy one code, connect one account, and run Sell From a Comment on a single post before stacking anything.

Whichever you pick, run one real post through it while the refund or redemption window is open. A listing can tell you what a tool claims, and an afternoon with your own account will tell you the rest.
No. Both run DM automation on Instagram and Facebook only. Chat33 can publish posts to TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn, but its comment-to-DM tools stay on Instagram and Facebook Pages.
Chat33 lets you stack up to 10 codes at $199 each, adding 5,000 contacts, 20 channels, 5 seats and 20 GB per code. Komently doesn't stack. You pick one of three tiers and can move between them.
Komently's listing summary mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee. Chat33's listing text only mentions a 60-day window to redeem codes and doesn't spell out refund terms, so check the AppSumo page first.
