Creator Insights vs SocialBu: Idea Engine or Everyday Scheduler
Both are $49 social media lifetime deals on AppSumo. Creator Insights helps you research and repurpose. SocialBu schedules, reports and handles the inbox.

You’ve got one announcement and four networks, and the usual routine is to write it, paste it, resize the image and lose twenty minutes. Breakreach and BulkPublish are both lifetime deals on AppSumo that aim to kill that routine. They go about it in different ways, and the right pick depends on how many accounts you run and whether you’d ever touch an API.

A caveat first. We haven’t used either tool. Everything below comes from the two AppSumo listings, which are marketing copy, and I’ll point out where they go quiet.
Breakreach’s hook is that you can run much of it from ChatGPT or Claude. You add it from the connector directory, sign in, and ask for a post in plain words. Your chatbot plan has to support connectors, and posts made this way don’t count against the monthly quota for Breakreach’s own AI assistant. The web app also works fine on its own, with a calendar, composer, inbox and analytics.
BulkPublish leans the other way. It has a documented REST API with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec on every plan, Node.js and Python SDKs, and an MCP server with 70+ tools for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Only 20 of those tools sit on the hosted endpoint, so the full set means running the server yourself. It also lists native Make, Zapier, n8n and IFTTT integrations.
If you want to talk to your scheduler, Breakreach is the friendlier story. If you want to script it, BulkPublish is the one built for that. Many small business owners will never write a line of code, which makes the Breakreach angle easier to use, though the listing has no demo video, so we can’t judge how well it copes with sloppy wording.
Breakreach shows every network on one calendar. Drag a post to a new day and it moves on every network it targets. Queue slots drop new posts into your usual times. The composer previews each format, with 9:16 for Reels, TikToks and Shorts, and carousels of up to 10 photos on Instagram and Facebook, up to 35 on TikTok, and LinkedIn carousels as a PDF. That’s concrete detail, and it’s the kind I like to see in a listing.
BulkPublish gives you a visual calendar, repeat posts, recurring schedules, CSV bulk import, hashtag groups, templates, calendar notes and a media library. RSS autoposting handles up to three feeds. The CSV import is a real plus if you plan a month in a spreadsheet, and Breakreach doesn’t mention anything like it.
What BulkPublish doesn’t say is how its editor handles differences between networks. Breakreach does say, with per-network options for the YouTube title, Instagram Reel or Story, and TikTok privacy. On that front Breakreach is clearer.
Breakreach lists 20, including Reddit, Slack, WordPress, Ghost, Dev.to and Hashnode alongside the usual social names. BulkPublish lists 15, and includes Snapchat Stories and Spotlight, which Breakreach doesn’t mention. Breakreach has the longer list, but length says nothing about depth, and neither listing explains how well the smaller networks are supported.
X is the sharp difference. Breakreach lists X, with comment replies from its inbox, and mentions no extra charge. BulkPublish supports X only through pay-as-you-go credits, and the listing’s answer cuts off before giving a price. If X matters to you, treat it as a running cost on top of the $59.

Breakreach has three tiers at $49, $119 and $199. The listing gives limits in three columns without saying which price goes with which. The natural reading is smallest to largest, but check the checkout page before you assume.
On that reading, $49 gets you 5 connected accounts, 1 workspace, 1 team member, 50 AI assistant messages a month and no Instagram DM automation. The middle tier is 15 accounts, 3 workspaces, 3 members and DM automation. The top tier is 50 accounts, 10 workspaces and unlimited members.
BulkPublish is a single tier at $59: 15 channels, one per platform, 20 posts a day and 600 a month, 1 GB of media storage, 1 organization and 1 user. Extra channel slots cost $2.99 a month each, and stacking licenses doesn’t raise your limits. The listing doesn’t say whether one post sent to five networks counts as one or five against the daily cap. That’s the first thing I’d ask support.
The account math matters. One brand on four networks uses four of the five accounts on Breakreach’s smallest tier. BulkPublish’s $59 looks roomier at 15 channels, but two Instagram accounts won’t fit without a monthly fee. On Breakreach’s middle tier they would.
Both sets of list prices are the sellers’ numbers, so ignore the ‘was’ figures and ask whether you’d pay for the tool monthly.
Breakreach has an inbox for comment replies on Instagram, Facebook and X, plus Instagram and Facebook DMs. On the higher tiers it can send an Instagram DM when someone comments a keyword, replies to your story or messages a keyword, though only to people who contacted you first. BulkPublish mentions replying to comments on published posts and alerts for failed posts. It lists no DM tools.
On analytics, both are thin. Breakreach compares reach and engagement across networks and opens per-post numbers. BulkPublish says only analytics on published content. Neither says how far back the data goes or whether you can export a report, so don’t buy either for client reporting without asking.
Agency work favors Breakreach. Its middle tier gives 3 workspaces and 3 members, and the top tier gives 10 workspaces. BulkPublish gives 1 organization and 1 user. Its FAQ says you can move to Pro (3 organizations) or Business (10), but the listing gives no prices for them.
The risk is similar on both sides. Neither listing says much about company history. Breakreach’s lifetime promise covers updates to the features in your tier, which is narrower than keeping every integration working. BulkPublish gives no team size or roadmap. Both come with AppSumo’s 60-day money-back guarantee and a 60-day activation window, so connect real accounts early and schedule a real week.
Buy Breakreach if you post for several brands or clients, want replies and DM automation in one place, or like the idea of asking a chatbot to schedule for you. Count your accounts first, then add two for growth.

Buy BulkPublish if you’re a solo operator with one account per network, or a developer who will actually use the API and MCP server. Before you pay, find out how the daily cap counts cross-posts and what X will cost you.
Breakreach starts at $49 and BulkPublish costs $59. The $49 Breakreach tier appears to allow only 5 accounts and no DM automation, while BulkPublish covers 15 channels at one per platform. Breakreach's listing doesn't label which price maps to which limits, so check the checkout page.
The Breakreach listing includes X among its networks and mentions no extra charge. BulkPublish supports X only through pay-as-you-go credits, and its listing cuts off before giving a price.
Breakreach, on the listings. Its middle tier offers 3 workspaces and 3 team members, and its top tier offers 10 workspaces and unlimited members. BulkPublish's lifetime plan has 1 organization and 1 user, and its Pro and Business upgrades have no prices listed.
