Creator Insights vs SocialBu: Idea Engine or Everyday Scheduler
Both are $49 social media lifetime deals on AppSumo. Creator Insights helps you research and repurpose. SocialBu schedules, reports and handles the inbox.
AdaptlyPost is a calendar scheduler from $59. SocialClaw is an agent-driven poster from $39 with lifetime post caps. Here's how the limits compare.

AdaptlyPost takes 2 rounds, SocialClaw takes 2.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Day-to-day workflow | Tie | AdaptlyPost is a visual calendar with bulk upload; SocialClaw is agent-first via MCP, CLI and API, so the better fit depends on how you work. |
| Network coverage | Tie | AdaptlyPost lists nine networks including Threads and Bluesky; SocialClaw lists eleven including Reddit, Discord, Telegram and WordPress, so it depends on your audience. |
| Posting limits | AdaptlyPost | SocialClaw tier 1 caps you at 2,000 posts for life and 200 on X, while AdaptlyPost's listing shows no post cap, only unexplained monthly credits. |
| Entry price | SocialClaw | SocialClaw starts at $39 against $59, though the cheaper code comes with 3 accounts versus 50. |
| Tier clarity | SocialClaw | SocialClaw's four tiers scale evenly, while AdaptlyPost's table has tier 2 with fewer credits and tier 3 with fewer accounts than tier 1. |
| Track record and risk | AdaptlyPost | AdaptlyPost shows 167 reviews at 4.90 and a 60-day money-back guarantee; SocialClaw shows one review and no refund terms in the listing. |

Two social schedulers, two lifetime deals, and only $20 between the entry tiers. It looks like a coin flip. It isn’t, because these tools make very different promises about how you’ll work and how much you can post. We haven’t used either one, so everything here is a read of the AppSumo listings.

AdaptlyPost is the familiar kind of scheduler. You open a visual calendar, map out weeks or months of posts, preview each one per platform and schedule it. There’s an auto-schedule option that picks times based on your audience, though the listing doesn’t say how it decides. It also adds AI image generation and caption help.
SocialClaw is built on the idea that an AI agent does the clicking. You can drive it through a native MCP server, a command-line tool or a REST API, so Claude, ChatGPT or your own code can queue a week of posts in one conversation. A dashboard exists, and the listing says you don’t need to code. Still, the agent route is the whole pitch.
If you like seeing your month laid out on a calendar, AdaptlyPost is the natural fit. If you already draft in Claude or ChatGPT and hate pasting text into another tool, SocialClaw is the more interesting idea. The listing doesn’t say how much setup the MCP route needs or which ChatGPT plans can connect. Treat that promise as unverified.
AdaptlyPost has an API as well. You generate a token under Settings > API Tokens, and the listing says you can connect Claude Code, Cursor or OpenClaw-powered agents. So the agent angle isn’t exclusive to SocialClaw. It’s just a side feature here rather than the centre.
AdaptlyPost’s FAQ lists nine platforms: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky. SocialClaw’s feature list names eleven: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, Discord, Telegram and WordPress.
Seven are shared. Threads and Bluesky are only on AdaptlyPost. Reddit, Discord, Telegram and WordPress are only on SocialClaw. Pick by where your audience actually lives, not by the bigger number. One catch: SocialClaw’s FAQ answer lists ten and leaves Reddit out, so ask before you buy if Reddit matters.
AdaptlyPost is open about connection friction. Instagram needs a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page, and Facebook needs admin access to the Page. If Instagram posts fail, you hit Refresh Instagram in the Accounts section. SocialClaw’s listing says nothing on this, so we can’t tell you whether it’s easier or just undocumented.
Bulk work is another gap. AdaptlyPost lets you upload up to 100 videos or 30 image posts per session and set platform-specific details for each. SocialClaw’s listing doesn’t mention bulk upload, though an agent could presumably queue many posts in one go. That’s our inference, not a listed feature.
This is where the two deals really split.
SocialClaw’s entry code gives you 3 connected accounts and 2,000 posts in total, with up to 200 going to X. That’s a lifetime total, not a monthly allowance. Spread out, it’s roughly one post a day for five and a half years across everything you connect, and far less if you post to several networks at once. The listing doesn’t say whether one post sent to three networks counts as one or three. That detail changes the math a lot.
AdaptlyPost’s $59 tier gives you 50 connected accounts, 600 credits a month, 1 team member and 3 workspaces. The listing shows no cap on posts. But the credits are a mystery. It never says what a credit buys, whether AI images and captions draw from the same pool, or whether scheduling costs anything. So 600 might be plenty or gone in a week.
On paper, AdaptlyPost looks safer for a busy account because nothing in the listing limits how much you schedule. SocialClaw’s cap is at least stated plainly, which some buyers will prefer to a vague credit system.

SocialClaw’s four tiers are simple. Each is another $39 code: $39 for 3 accounts and 2,000 posts, $78 for 6 and 4,000, $117 for 9 and 6,000, $156 for 12 and 8,000. X posts go up by 200 per code. There’s no volume discount, so tier 4 is just four tier 1s. You can stack up to 4 codes and must redeem within 60 days.
AdaptlyPost has five tiers from $59 to $799. Tier 2 at $139 lists 100 accounts but only 200 credits, fewer than tier 1. Tier 3 at $329 lists 25 accounts, fewer than tier 1. That could be a typo or odd packaging. Either way, confirm the numbers before paying for anything above $59.
Ignore both list prices. $190 and $540 are framing, and we’ve seen nothing showing anyone pays them.
On risk, AdaptlyPost offers a 60-day money-back guarantee, plus upgrades between tiers and downgrades within 60 days. The SocialClaw listing we have mentions a 60-day redemption window but no refund terms. AdaptlyPost has 167 reviews at 4.90, which is encouraging even if lifetime deal reviews skew warm. SocialClaw has one review, a 5.00, which tells you almost nothing.
Neither listing mentions analytics, approval workflows, a unified inbox or social listening. If you need those, look at Sprout Social instead. AdaptlyPost’s own review summary even admits some buyers had analytics issues and formatting quirks.
Teams and agencies need a closer look. SocialClaw gives each brand its own workspace and lets clients attach accounts through a connect link, but the listing doesn’t say how many workspaces you get. AdaptlyPost’s tier 1 has one seat and 3 workspaces, which rules out a team at the entry price.
SocialClaw also bundles a UGC video generator with real actors and a remix tool. The listing gives no limits, credits, length or resolution, and says nothing about rights when remixing other people’s videos. Don’t count it as a reason to buy.
Neither listing says how old the product is or how big the team is. For a lifetime deal, that’s the first thing to wonder about.
For most small businesses, AdaptlyPost is the safer buy. You get a normal calendar, bulk uploads, 50 accounts on the entry tier, a refund window and a real review count. Its weak spots are the unexplained credits and the messy tier table.

SocialClaw is the one to pick if you already live inside Claude or ChatGPT and your posting volume is modest. At $39 the downside is small. Before you buy, ask whether a cross-posted item counts once or per network, whether Reddit is supported, and what the video tool costs to use.
SocialClaw lists eleven (including Reddit, Discord, Telegram and WordPress) and AdaptlyPost lists nine (including Threads and Bluesky). SocialClaw's own FAQ names only ten and omits Reddit, so confirm Reddit before buying.
SocialClaw does: one code gives 2,000 lifetime posts, with up to 200 for X. AdaptlyPost's listing shows monthly credits from 200 to 5,000 but doesn't explain what a credit buys, so its real ceiling is unclear.
No. The listing says the dashboard handles everything and you don't need to code. But the agent workflow is the main selling point, so without it you're paying for a capped scheduler.
