Say you post a reel on Monday, and by Tuesday forty people have commented “info”. You could answer them one by one. Or you could set up a flow that sends the link for you. Both Inrō and PosteAhora can do that on Instagram, and that overlap is why a buyer might put them side by side.

Inrō and PosteAhora side by side

But they start from opposite ends. Inrō is built around the DM conversation. PosteAhora is built around getting one post onto many networks, with DM tools added on. Which one is right depends on which problem costs you more time.

Where they actually differ

Inrō watches comments, story replies, story mentions, incoming DMs and ad leads, then responds automatically. Behind that sits an AI agent you train on your own knowledge base, tone and real messages. It can collect emails and phone numbers, qualify leads, and hand over to you when you choose.

PosteAhora lists 16 networks it can publish to through official APIs: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, Telegram, WordPress, Dev.to, Tumblr and Google Business Profile. The DM features sit in a separate section of the listing and read as a bonus layer, not the product’s centre.

That’s the whole decision in miniature. One is a sales assistant for Instagram. The other is a scheduler that happens to answer comments.

What you get on the DM side

Inrō’s comment-to-DM can trigger on a fixed keyword or on AI-detected intent, which helps when people phrase the same request ten different ways. Links are tracked, so you can see which post produced the click and follow up with people who engaged. Every contact lands in a built-in CRM with their profile, conversation history and custom fields like email or budget. You can segment them and send multi-step DM campaigns.

The limits are worth knowing. Campaigns are capped per month, from 10 on Tier 1 to 800 on Tier 5. The listing also doesn’t describe CRM depth beyond custom fields, so think of it as a tidy contact list tied to your DMs, not a sales pipeline with stages and reports.

PosteAhora’s version is simpler. Someone comments a keyword like GUIDE on an Instagram or Facebook post and gets your link in a private message. You can build multi-step flows with answer buttons, and set keyword auto-replies for DMs, story replies and mentions. One Inbox shows Instagram and Facebook DMs with an unread count, and public auto-replies and spam hiding work on Instagram, Facebook and Threads.

That’s solid for the price. What’s missing is any mention of an AI agent for DMs, lead qualification, link click tracking inside flows, or a contact database. The listing also doesn’t say how many DMs you can send. We haven’t tested either tool, so treat all of this as what the pages claim.

What you get on the posting side

Here PosteAhora pulls ahead clearly. You write one caption, pick accounts across networks, and see a live preview for each. You can swap the media per network, such as a vertical cut for TikTok and a square image for LinkedIn, and the listing says media validation checks specs so posts aren’t rejected. RSS feeds can turn a blog into scheduled posts, and bulk CSV import loads a month of content in one go.

Inrō does offer scheduling for posts, reels and stories, but the listing describes it as one content view and says little else. If your week involves LinkedIn, Pinterest and a Google Business Profile as well as Instagram, Inrō won’t cover you.

On AI assistants, PosteAhora gives you one connector URL for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n, Make and others, plus full API access on all three tiers. Inrō has MCP features too, but only from Tier 3 at $299, and they focus on editing automations and auditing accounts. The PosteAhora listing doesn’t spell out its action list, so check what an agent can really do before building a workflow around it.

Inrō vs PosteAhora round by round

Prices and tier limits

Inrō runs five tiers. Here is what each includes per month:

  • Tier 1, $59: 1 Instagram account, 500 contacts, 200 AI credits, 10 campaigns, no BYOK
  • Tier 2, $119: 2 accounts, 3,600 contacts, 1,400 credits, 50 campaigns, BYOK
  • Tier 3, $299: 4 accounts, 20,000 contacts, 8,000 credits, 150 campaigns, advanced reporting, MCP features
  • Tier 4, $499: 8 accounts, 112,000 contacts, 40,000 credits, agency dashboard
  • Tier 5, $799: 20 accounts, 600,000 contacts, 200,000 credits, 800 campaigns

Tier 1 is the weak spot. Each AI message uses a credit, so 200 credits can vanish on one busy post. I’d treat Tier 2 as the real entry point if the AI agent is why you’re buying. There’s also a confusing white label row that lists the feature on Tiers 2 and 3 but not 4 and 5, which may be a listing error. Agencies should ask before paying.

PosteAhora has three tiers:

  • $25 Starter: 5 connected accounts, 10 GB, 15 networks, no X, 2 RSS feeds
  • $149 Growth: 30 accounts, 50 GB, all 16 networks, 3 X accounts, 10 RSS feeds
  • $449 Agency: 150 accounts, 200 GB, 10 X accounts, 30 RSS feeds

That works out to roughly $5 per account on Starter and Growth, and about $3 on Agency. Five accounts goes fast if you run two brands across three networks each. X is limited even where it’s allowed, at 100 posts per X account per month with link posts excluded.

There’s also a contradiction to clear up. PosteAhora’s FAQ says you can stack codes, while the plan terms say no codes and no stacking. Get that answered in writing before buying more than one code.

Risk and trust

Inrō shows 21 AppSumo reviews averaging 5.00 and a 60-day money-back guarantee. It also says it’s a Meta-approved Tech Provider running on Meta’s official API. Those are the company’s claims and the review count is small, but the guarantee gives you a real way to test it.

PosteAhora has 7 reviews averaging 4.43. The listing doesn’t say when it launched or who runs it. Its shutdown promise is at least 60 days’ notice to export your data, which is better than nothing but isn’t a guarantee the product lasts. The FAQ text we have is cut off before it answers the refund question, so check that on the page.

Both depend on Meta’s API rules, and neither listing says what happens if those rules change.

Which one to buy

Pick Inrō if Instagram DMs are where you close sales. A coach or small online shop with one or two accounts should start at Tier 2 and judge it on one comment-to-DM flow plus how fast the credits burn. A small agency running client accounts has a reason to look at Tier 3 or above.

Pick PosteAhora if your problem is the Monday chore of pasting one caption into five places. Starter at $25 is cheap enough to be a low-risk bet, as long as you can live without X and with five accounts. Growth suits a freelancer handling a few small clients.

Who should pick Inrō or PosteAhora

If you want both jobs done well, be honest about which one earns you money. A scheduler with basic DM replies won’t replace an AI agent and CRM, and an Instagram-only tool won’t fill your LinkedIn calendar. Choose the problem that costs you more hours, then buy the tier that fits it.

Frequently asked questions

Can PosteAhora replace Inrō for Instagram comment-to-DM?

For simple keyword flows, possibly. PosteAhora lists comment-to-DM, multi-step flows with answer buttons and keyword auto-replies on every tier. It doesn't list an AI agent, a CRM with custom fields or DM campaigns, which Inrō does. The listing also doesn't state DM volume limits.

Which tier of Inrō is worth buying?

Tier 2 at $119 looks like the realistic starting point if you want the AI agent. Tier 1 gives 200 AI credits a month, and each AI message costs one. Tier 2 gives 1,400 credits, 2 accounts and BYOK, which lets you connect your own OpenAI key.

Does either tool work with personal Instagram profiles?

PosteAhora says its DM automation covers only Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages. Inrō's listing says you connect an Instagram Business or Creator account. Neither listing offers personal profile automation.
