Hyperleap AI Review: Solid Chatbot Deal, Mind the Credit Cap
Hyperleap AI is an AppSumo lifetime deal from $49 for a support and lead chatbot on web, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. Credits are capped, though.
CX Genie bundles AI chat, live chat and a social inbox from $79. Websy Chat is a $69 website widget with lead capture and tight message caps.

CX Genie takes 4 rounds, Websy Chat takes 2.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price and limits | CX Genie | $79 gets 10,000 conversations a month, 20 chatbots and 5 seats, while Websy's $69 gets 500 messages, one site and owner-only access. |
| Live chat and human takeover | CX Genie | Live chat is listed on every CX Genie tier, but Websy Chat only offers live takeover from 2 codes ($138). |
| Channels covered | CX Genie | CX Genie's inbox lists Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and WhatsApp, while Websy Chat is a website widget only. |
| Lead capture | Websy Chat | Websy Chat collects name, email and the visitor's actual question with the full chat attached, and the CX Genie listing never describes lead capture. |
| Setup clarity | Websy Chat | Websy Chat spells out a single footer script and a check that the widget is loading, while CX Genie's listing doesn't describe setup. |
| Evidence and risk | CX Genie | CX Genie shows 78 AppSumo reviews at 4.13/5 and a 60-day money-back mention, while the Websy Chat data shows no reviews or refund terms. |

Say you run a small shop or a consulting practice and you’ve decided a chatbot is worth paying for once, not every month. Two AppSumo lifetime deals land in front of you, one at $79 and one at $69. They look close on price. They aren’t close on what you get.

CX Genie is a customer support platform with an AI bot, live chat and a shared inbox. Websy Chat is a website widget that answers from your pages and passes leads to your inbox. We haven’t used either, so everything below comes from the listings.
CX Genie wants to be your support desk. The listing talks about a unified inbox for Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and WhatsApp, a drag-and-drop workflow builder with conditional logic and triggers, and add-ons like a help desk with CSAT reports and white-labeling.
Websy Chat wants to be the thing that answers a visitor at 9pm when you’re asleep or on a job. You point it at the pages and files you already publish, and it answers from them. If it doesn’t know, the listing says it tells the visitor so and offers to take a message.
That gap in ambition is the whole decision. If customers reach you through social DMs and WhatsApp, only CX Genie covers that. If nearly everything arrives through your website, Websy Chat’s smaller scope might be all you need.
CX Genie lets you train a bot on FAQs, uploaded documents and live URLs. The listing says it runs on GPT-4o-mini for everyday answers and GPT-4 for harder ones, supports 55+ languages, and can hand a conversation to a human. Live chat, API and SDK access, a hybrid AI-assist chat mode and custom branding are listed on every tier.
The ecommerce angle is where you should read carefully. The listing text talks up Shopify and WooCommerce data sync, but the plan table lists chatbot data sync and tables for the top tier only. If a store connection is your reason to buy, check that before you pick a tier.
Websy Chat’s feature list is short, and it’s honest about being short. It answers only from your content. It collects a visitor’s name, email and real question, and each lead arrives with the full chat attached. Visitors can write in their own language and get a reply in that language, though the listing doesn’t say which languages work or how well.
I like the lead capture design. A name and email with no context is nearly useless, while a note with the actual question is something you can answer quickly. CX Genie’s listing doesn’t describe lead capture at all, which doesn’t mean it can’t do it. It means the listing doesn’t say.
Neither listing gives accuracy figures. CX Genie has a demo video, but it’s a pitch that doesn’t show pricing, reporting or how the AI copes with a messy support queue. Websy Chat has no video. For both, plan to load your real content on day one and ask it awkward questions.

Both are one-time payments with future plan updates included. Here is how the tiers line up.
| CX Genie | Websy Chat | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry tier | $79: 10,000 conversations a month, 20 chatbots, 5 team members | $69: 500 messages a month, 1 website, owner only |
| Middle tier | $229: 30,000 conversations, 50 chatbots, 20 team members | $138: 1,000 messages, 2 websites, 2 team members |
| Top tier | $459: 60,000 conversations, unlimited chatbots and team members | $207: 1,500 messages, 3 websites, 3 team members |
The units differ. CX Genie counts conversations, Websy Chat counts messages, and Websy Chat doesn’t say whether a message is a visitor question, a bot reply or both. That matters a lot at a 500 cap. It also doesn’t say what happens when you hit the limit.
Websy Chat’s price ladder is steep for what it adds. The $69 tier has no live takeover, no lead qualification and no summaries. All three arrive at $138, so if you want to step into chats yourself, that is the real entry price.
CX Genie has its own wrinkles. Ticket management, form builders, white-labeling and custom auth are tier 3 only, which is $459. The help desk is marked true for tiers 1 and 3 but false for tier 2, and that looks like an error. Ask AppSumo or the vendor before you buy the middle tier for it.
The listing also says the deal ends on 2026-10-29 at 12:00 (UTC-5). That date has already passed, so confirm the deal is still on sale before you plan around it.
CX Genie shows 78 AppSumo reviews averaging 4.13/5. AppSumo’s own summary is marketing copy, but even it mentions concerns about support turnaround times. It also mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee, and the plan terms say you must activate your license within 60 days. You can upgrade between tiers while the deal runs and downgrade within 60 days of purchase.
The Websy Chat data we have shows no review count or rating. It says you must redeem codes within 60 days and can stack up to 3, but it doesn’t mention a refund window, a company history, a roadmap or support details. A lifetime deal on a fixed payment needs the vendor to keep the lights on for years, and the listing gives you nothing to judge that by. Treat it as a young product.
Websy Chat’s self-serve setup is at least clearly described. You paste one script into the footer, and the listing names WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow and plain HTML. The portal checks that the widget is loading. CX Genie’s listing names Shopify, WordPress and BigCommerce connections but gives no setup walkthrough, so we can’t say how long it takes.
Pick CX Genie if you want room to grow. A shared inbox across social channels, live chat on every tier and 10,000 monthly conversations for $79 is a lot of headroom, and the refund mention lowers the risk. Just don’t buy the lower tiers expecting white-labeling or ticketing, because the plan table keeps those for $459.

Pick Websy Chat if you’re a coach, consultant or local tradesperson with one site and a handful of repeat questions. At $69 you’re testing an idea cheaply, and at $138 you get live takeover too. Watch the 500-message cap, ask what counts as a message, and treat the first month as a trial: load your best pages, ask ugly questions and see whether the leads are worth replying to.
Websy Chat starts lower at $69 against $79, and its top tier is $207 against $459. The limits differ a lot, though. Websy Chat's $69 tier caps you at 500 messages a month and one website, while CX Genie's $79 tier lists 10,000 conversations a month. The two listings count usage differently, so don't treat the numbers as a direct match.
No. Human takeover, lead qualification and conversation summaries are only listed for 2 or 3 codes ($138 or $207). With one code you get the bot, lead capture and the emailed transcript.
The listing names Intercom and Zendesk as alternatives, but the plan table puts ticket management, form builders and white-labeling on the $459 tier only. The listing also marks the help desk as false on tier 2, which looks odd, so ask before buying. We haven't tested the product, so we can't say how it holds up against a mature helpdesk.
How this comparison was made: researched from both tools' official listings and demo videos, and written with help from AI. We have not tested CX Genie or Websy Chat hands-on yet. Prices and deal terms change, so check AppSumo before you buy. See our affiliate disclosure.
