Zapier Alternatives on AppSumo: Six Lifetime Deals Compared
Six AppSumo lifetime deals that cover parts of what Zapier does for small businesses, with the credit caps, missing features and refund windows each listing shows.
BetterClaw runs AI agents on a schedule with your own API keys. Robomotion RPA drives browsers and desktop apps. Here's which lifetime deal fits.

BetterClaw takes 3 rounds, Robomotion RPA takes 2.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Setup effort | BetterClaw | BetterClaw's listing claims an agent is live in about 60 seconds from templates, while Robomotion means installing a robot app and picking selectors yourself. |
| Reach beyond APIs | Robomotion RPA | Robomotion automates browsers and desktop apps with selectors and OCR, which an agent tool with a connector list can't match on screen-only tasks. |
| Hands-off running | BetterClaw | Robomotion's own demo says a running robot takes over your computer and does one thing at a time, and cloud hours only appear on the top two tiers. |
| Entry price and limits | BetterClaw | BetterClaw starts at $79 against $119, though its entry tier appears to cap you at 2 agents and 2,000 credits a month. |
| Track record | Robomotion RPA | Robomotion has 98 AppSumo reviews averaging 4.76, against 17 averaging 4.47 for BetterClaw, which also lists several features as still in progress. |
| Listing clarity | Tie | Both plan tables leave columns unlabelled and conflict with other parts of the listing, so you'll need to check limits at checkout either way. |

Picture a small business owner with a pile of dull weekly jobs. One is sorting the inbox. Another is chasing failed card payments. A third is moving a report from a folder to an FTP server and emailing someone to say it’s there. Both of these AppSumo lifetime deals promise to take that pile off your hands, but they go about it in very different ways.

BetterClaw gives you AI agents. You describe a job or pick a template, and the agent decides how to do it. Robomotion RPA gives you robots that click, type and copy the way you would, following a flow you build yourself. One is flexible and a bit unpredictable. The other is precise and a bit laborious.
We haven’t used either tool. Everything here comes from the AppSumo listings, plus a creator’s demo video for Robomotion. BetterClaw had no demo video, so treat what follows as a buyer’s briefing, not a lab report.
BetterClaw is closer to the Zapier and Lindy end of the spectrum. The built-in workflows are Morning Briefing, Email Triage and Failed Payment Recovery, and each can start on a schedule or a trigger, like a 7 AM digest or every new email. The listing says templates also cover support, HR and marketing, and that new workflows land every week. It doesn’t say how many exist today.
Robomotion works at a lower level. It automates web and desktop applications, and the demo shows drag-and-drop nodes for browser actions, Excel, Google Sheets, the file system, FTP, mail, mouse and keyboard. For web pages you can target elements with XPath or CSS selectors, or fall back on OCR to find words and images on screen.
That difference decides most of this comparison. If the job is “read these emails and decide what matters,” BetterClaw’s approach fits. If the job is “log into this site that has no API and download a report,” only the robot approach has a chance.
BetterClaw’s pitch is bring-your-own-keys. You connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq or Ollama and the listing says there’s no markup on inference. You can even route by job type, such as vision to Gemini and bulk work to DeepSeek.
But you pay twice. Your provider bills you for tokens, and BetterClaw meters credits for runtime, roughly one credit per minute. Premium extras like proxies and ad connectors cost more credits per use. If you don’t already have an API key, that’s an extra account and bill to manage.
Robomotion’s hidden cost is hardware. On the four cheaper tiers there are no cloud execution hours, so robots run on a machine you supply. The demo itself hints at renting a VPS, which isn’t covered by the deal price. And when a robot runs, the video says it takes over that computer and handles only one task at a time. The presenter calls that the biggest drawback, and we agree. Automating on the same laptop you work on sounds painful.

BetterClaw has five tiers at $79, $149, $269, $399 and $549. The plan table doesn’t label its columns, so we’re inferring that the $79 tier gets 2 agents, 2,000 credits a month, 1 seat and 30 days of memory. The top tier appears to get 30 agents, 30,000 credits and 5 seats. The FAQ confirms 12,000 credits for tier 3, which supports that reading, but confirm it at checkout.
If a task takes 5 to 10 minutes, 2,000 credits is roughly 200 to 400 runs a month. An email agent that fires on every new message could eat that quickly. Two agents is also trial-sized. We’d call the entry tier a way to test the idea, not a place to live.
Robomotion has six tiers from $119 to $1,619. Per the video, tier 1 gives two production robots, 25 flows and scheduling every 30 minutes. Higher tiers raise robots to 20, flows to unlimited and scheduling to every minute. Cloud hours of 12 and 36 per month sit only at the top two tiers, priced at $1,079 and $1,619.
So the cheap tier is for a handful of flows on your own spare machine. Serious use pushes you up the ladder fast. The listing’s $1,980 list price is the vendor’s own number, and we’d ignore it.
Both plan tables are messy. Robomotion’s trigger and queue rows don’t match the presenter’s description, and BetterClaw’s MCP row looks odd across tiers. Read the checkout page twice for either.
BetterClaw’s integration claims contradict each other. One section says 95+ tools with real OAuth, the FAQ says both 1,000+ apps and 500+ connectors, and the AppSumo header lists only Discord, Gmail, Slack, Telegram and WhatsApp. Check that your specific apps are on the list before buying. We do like the per-agent connector permissions, so an email agent can’t touch your billing tool. Webhooks and multi-agent collaboration are still in progress, which matters if you need inbound triggers today.
Robomotion supports file system, email, HTTP and queue triggers, which suits “run this when a file lands” jobs. Credentials go into encrypted vaults, and versions, audit logs and job logs are in every tier. The video also warns that sites which detect robots may block you, so scraping and login flows can break. You’ll fix selectors when a website changes.
On track record, Robomotion looks steadier, with 98 reviews averaging 4.76. BetterClaw has 17 averaging 4.47, and AppSumo’s own summary mentions a learning curve and a need for clearer explanations. Both summaries are marketing copy, but the sample sizes aren’t.
Pick BetterClaw if you have two or three judgment-heavy chores, you’re comfortable paying for model tokens, and you want something that runs without tying up your computer. Build those jobs first, watch the credit use, and decide inside the 60-day refund window.
Pick Robomotion if your work happens in browsers, spreadsheets, FTP and local files, and you don’t mind building flows and maintaining them. Budget for a spare machine or a VPS. Note the deal ends on 2026-11-29, so there’s about four weeks left as we write this.

If you only need simple app-to-app hand-offs, skip both and use a standard no-code tool. If you’re torn between these two, ask whether the job needs judgment or needs clicking. Judgment points to BetterClaw, and clicking points to Robomotion.
Yes. You connect your own keys from providers like OpenAI or Anthropic, and the listing says there's no markup on inference. Credits for agent runtime are billed separately, and the lifetime deal covers those only up to the monthly cap.
Not according to the listing. Cloud execution hours show up only on the two top tiers, at 12 and 36 hours a month. On the cheaper tiers, robots run on a computer or server you provide.
Both mention a 60-day money-back guarantee through AppSumo. Robomotion's deal also ends on 2026-11-29, so its window to buy is shorter. Build one real job in either tool before the refund window closes.
