AppSumo Deals Ending Before Black Friday 2026: Buy or Wait?
Fourteen AppSumo lifetime deals end before Black Friday on November 27, 2026. Here are the seven worth a look now, and who should skip them.
AI Content Writer is a WordPress SEO plugin with a license conflict. UseArticle is a cheaper affiliate-post scheduler. Here's which deal fits.

AI Content Writer takes 2 rounds, UseArticle takes 3.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Lifetime claim | UseArticle | UseArticle's listing says lifetime throughout, while AI Content Writer's own FAQ says 'we do not offer lifetime licenses' and describes annual renewals. |
| SEO tooling | AI Content Writer | AI Content Writer writes into Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress and holds low-scoring articles as drafts. |
| Affiliate workflow | UseArticle | UseArticle takes product URLs, offers 13 article formats and a 90+ program marketplace, none of which AI Content Writer lists. |
| Quality control before publishing | AI Content Writer | AI Content Writer has an SEO score gate and a post-review queue, while UseArticle's listing never says whether you can approve drafts. |
| Entry price and site count | UseArticle | UseArticle costs $49 for 3 sites, while AI Content Writer costs $59 and its site count for that tier is unclear. |
| Platform fit | Tie | AI Content Writer is WordPress only, and UseArticle's listing doesn't clearly say where it publishes, so neither is proven more flexible. |

Say your blog has been stuck at four posts since spring. You know it should be publishing weekly, but writing, formatting and scheduling keep losing to everything else on your list. Both of these tools promise to fix that by writing and publishing for you on a schedule.

They go about it in different ways, and the price tags hide a bigger difference than the $10 gap suggests. We haven’t used either one. Everything below comes from the two AppSumo listings, which are marketing copy, so treat it as a read of what’s promised and what’s missing.
AI Content Writer is a WordPress plugin. It runs campaigns inside your dashboard, each with a four-step pipeline: titles, content, featured image, publish. You pick the source: keywords, Bing trending topics, an RSS feed, a pasted list of titles, or Autopilot, where it reads your existing posts and keeps writing on-theme articles.
UseArticle is built for affiliate sites. You feed it product URLs, choose one of 13 formats such as reviews, comparisons, buying guides and alternatives lists, and it publishes daily. It can schedule up to 90 days out, and it comes with a marketplace of 90+ affiliate programs.
So the first question is what your site is for. A local service business blogging about customer questions is the AI Content Writer buyer. Someone running niche review sites is the UseArticle buyer. If you’re the second person, AI Content Writer has nothing built around products or affiliate links.
This one matters more than any feature.
UseArticle’s plans say lifetime access and future base plan updates. There’s one caveat, and it’s a real one: access to future AI models may be discounted or may need an add-on. That’s an honest warning, and it means lifetime doesn’t guarantee the newest model forever. But the core claim is consistent across the listing.
AI Content Writer is messier. The AppSumo tiers say Lifetime access and all future plan updates. The vendor’s FAQ on the same page says, in plain words, that it does not offer lifetime licenses. Licenses last 12 months, then you renew or stop. If you stop, the plugin keeps running but you get no updates and no support.
We can’t tell which statement governs the AppSumo purchase. It may be generic text from the vendor’s own store. It may not be. For a plugin that depends on WordPress, SEO plugins and AI provider APIs, all of which change often, updates are most of the value. Ask for a written answer before you pay.
AI Content Writer’s best idea is the SEO score gate. Articles are scored on length, heading structure, meta and keyword usage, and anything under your threshold stays a draft. The checklist weights aren’t published, so it’s a rough filter and not a ranking promise. But it’s a built-in brake, and neither of these tools should run without one.
It also writes SEO data straight into Yoast, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress, adds FAQ sections with FAQPage schema, builds a Related Articles block for internal links, and spaces posts with randomized gaps and per-day caps. A post-review queue is listed too, though the listing doesn’t explain how it works.
UseArticle’s strengths are organisational. You get a dashboard showing posts completed, scheduled and upcoming for each automation, plus a color-coded calendar with generated, scheduled and skipped posts. It also lists affiliate link handling, including broken link monitoring and FTC disclosures. That’s handy, though we’d want to see how the disclosures actually appear on a page.
Here’s the gap we’d worry about. UseArticle’s listing never says whether you can review a draft before it publishes. It also doesn’t say how it pulls product details from a URL. If it fills gaps from the model’s memory, you could end up with a wrong price or an invented feature on a live page. For an affiliate site, that costs you trust and clicks.

UseArticle has two tiers:
Two automations is tight. If one automation means one site and one template, you can’t run reviews and comparisons side by side. And without thumbnails on tier 1, you’re adding images by hand. The listing also doesn’t say how many posts one automation makes per day, so we can’t tell you real output.
AI Content Writer has three tiers at $59 (list $99), $99 (list $199) and $249 (list $499). The site count row in the listing is garbled. The vendor FAQ names Personal for 1 site, Developer for 5 and Agency for unlimited, so the tiers probably map to those in order. That’s our guess and the listing doesn’t confirm it. If it’s right, $59 buys one site, and $49 for three sites at UseArticle looks better value on paper.
Neither listing states a cap on articles generated. Both lean on AI providers, and AI Content Writer mentions Gemini’s free tier, which suggests you connect your own access. Who pays for AI Content Writer’s DALL·E or Stable Diffusion images isn’t stated either. Budget for API fees on top.
AI Content Writer has no free trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refunds are excluded if you changed your mind or if other plugins cause the problem. Fourteen days is short for a tool meant to run for weeks. You also have to activate within 60 days.
UseArticle also asks for activation within 60 days, and you can only downgrade within 60 days of purchase. The listing doesn’t give a refund window in the material we have, so check AppSumo’s terms.
Timing matters here. UseArticle’s deal ends on 1 November 2026, which is today. If you’re reading this later, check that it’s still live.
Neither has much of a track record in the listings. UseArticle shows two AppSumo reviews, both five stars, which tells you very little. AI Content Writer shows no reviews in the data we have and no sample output. Both are tagged as alternatives to Copy.ai and Jasper, which are broader tools, so treat that as a marketing label.
Pick AI Content Writer if you run a WordPress blog, already pay for an SEO plugin, and are happy to skim and edit a draft before it goes out. Bulk titles plus the review queue is the safest way to use it. Just settle the license question first, and treat the $59 as possibly a one-year purchase until someone says otherwise.
Pick UseArticle tier 1 at $49 if you run one or two small affiliate sites and keep falling behind on posting. The calendar and the marketplace help you keep a rhythm. Move to tier 2 only if you need more than 3 sites and don’t mind paying your AI provider directly.

Skip both if you need a general writing assistant for emails and ads, or if you won’t read what gets published under your name. Whichever you choose, use the first weeks properly: connect one site, run a small batch, read every post closely, and judge whether it’s something you’d put your name on before you scale it up.
It's unclear. AppSumo labels it lifetime, but the vendor FAQ says all licenses are 12-month subscriptions. If you don't renew, the plugin keeps working but you lose updates and support. Get written confirmation before buying.
UseArticle starts at $49 for 3 sites and goes to $119 for unlimited sites. AI Content Writer runs $59, $99 and $249, with the site count per tier not clearly listed. Tier 2 of UseArticle also needs your own API key for unlimited blogs.
AI Content Writer lists a post-review queue and an SEO score gate that holds weak articles as drafts, though it doesn't explain the workflow. UseArticle's listing doesn't mention an approval step at all.
