Consently Review: Cheap Cookie Consent, Odd Tier Math
Consently is a cookie consent tool with scanning, policy templates and Google CMP status, sold on AppSumo from $39. Here's what the listing covers and where it's thin.
Nine AppSumo lifetime deals that name Wix as an alternative, grouped by need, with the limits and gaps each listing leaves out. Prices run from $49 to $160.

| Meu Folio | For one-page solo sellers | $49 |
| Kalium | For existing WordPress users | $69 |
| WordPress Themes Bundle by SKT Themes | For multi-site WordPress builders | $160 |
| Brandolia | For first-pass branding and site | $55 |
| Row.so | For paid directory sites | $79 |

Wix is easy to start and easy to keep paying for. That monthly bill is usually what sends a small business owner looking at lifetime deals. One payment, no renewal, done. The catch is that you often trade a polished hosted builder for something narrower, younger or more hands-on, and you’re trusting a small company to stick around.

We’ve read nine AppSumo listings that name Wix as an alternative. Few of them are true replacements. We haven’t tested any of them, so everything below comes from what the listings show, including what they leave out.
Instantsite is the closest to the Wix experience of describing a business and getting pages back. At $49 you get a multi-page draft with copy, layout and images, plus hosting, SSL, custom domain connection and a visual editor with tablet and mobile preview. Failed generations can be retried without eating your monthly allowance, which is a thoughtful touch.
Now the limits. Websites are capped at 7 pages, and the lowest allowance is 3 AI generations a month. The listing shows $49, $129 and $249 tiers but doesn’t say which limits belong to which. It also never mentions a blog, forms, booking or a store. For a plumber’s brochure site that’s fine. For anything more, it’s a gap.
Meu Folio is a different animal. It’s one page, not a site, but that page can sell products, services, digital downloads and subscriptions through Stripe, take bookings and capture leads. It also shares by NFC and QR and installs as a PWA, which suits someone who meets customers in person.
The price is $49, and that’s about all the listing makes clear. It gives no limits on products, bookings, pages, storage or domains. Payments are Stripe-only, and fees aren’t described. The listing text is even cut off mid-FAQ. That’s a lot of blanks for a tool you’d run your income through.
Brandolia starts from the brand rather than the site. One brief produces logos, palettes, typography, a brand kit, a website and marketing visuals, and you can export the site as clean HTML in a ZIP. It handles multiple brands from one dashboard, so a freelancer could reuse it across clients. The 60-day money-back guarantee is the best safety net in this group.
The weak spot is the monthly token cap. The listing doesn’t say what each action costs, and it lists tier token numbers (150, 300 and 25) without saying which tier gets which. With 13 AppSumo reviews and some visuals reportedly needing work, treat it as a first-pass tool, not a finished identity.
DRAFTLY makes scroll-driven 3D landing pages from a prompt. You own the exported HTML, Tailwind CSS and JavaScript, there are 50+ presets, and you can deploy to Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages or your own server. You can even bring your own Gemini or Fal.ai keys.
We’d wait. The AppSumo average is 1.00 out of 5 from 5 reviews, and the plan limits are confusingly laid out. The listing never says what a credit buys. Skip it if you need a normal editable site anyway.

These two aren’t hosted builders. You still need hosting, plugins and maintenance, which is exactly what many Wix users wanted to escape.
Kalium is the safer bet of the two for one site. It launched in 2015, the founder cites 50,000+ sites, and it has 23 starter sites with versions for Elementor and the Block Editor. WooCommerce features include a cart drawer, filter drawer and checkout steps. The $69 tier is the sensible entry. The tier table is muddled, though, with site limits and bundled themes that don’t line up with the prices, so confirm before paying for more. Only one AppSumo review shows.
WordPress Themes Bundle by SKT Themes is for people who build several sites. For $160 you get 420+ themes and plugins, unlimited site use, a GPL licence and white-label rights, with one-click demo import and free installation. The speed and SEO claims are marketing copy with no benchmarks. And SKT says all sales are final, while the listing doesn’t explain AppSumo’s own refund terms. For a single site, it’s more than you need.
Row.so builds directory sites from an AI prompt, a blank canvas or a two-way synced Google Sheet, with a 0% platform fee on listing revenue. Custom domain, SSL and a Map Locator layout are included. It starts at $79 and the lifetime tiers run to $269. Tier limits for directories and workspaces are ambiguous, and the listing says nothing on AI generation limits or traffic caps. Buy it for a specific directory idea, not as a general site.
Bundles Curator AI only matters if you’re on Shopify. For $59 it suggests bundles for you to approve, allows quantity discounts above the usual 2 or 3 items and supports subscription bundles. The listing gives no limits, no reviews and no demo video, so there’s nothing to judge results by.
AIWA builds apps with a database and login from one prompt, not websites. The $97 tier gives 250 credits that never expire and two apps a month, with code export by ZIP or GitHub. It has four AppSumo reviews and no demo video, and top-up prices and refund terms are missing. Treat it as a way to prototype a simple internal tool.

If you’re replacing a Wix site, start with Instantsite or Meu Folio for simple needs, or Kalium if you’re comfortable with WordPress. Whichever you pick, find the refund window first, then ask AppSumo which limits belong to your tier.
Only for narrow jobs. Instantsite, Meu Folio and Brandolia come closest for small sites. Row.so, DRAFTLY, AIWA and Bundles Curator AI do something more specific, and Row.so's own listing says it is no real Wix replacement.
Kalium offers WooCommerce layouts with a cart drawer, filter drawer and checkout steps, but you manage WordPress yourself. Bundles Curator AI only adds bundles to an existing Shopify store. Meu Folio sells through Stripe on a single page.
Check which limits belong to which tier, what the refund terms are, and how many reviews exist. Several listings leave these out. SKT says all sales are final, while Brandolia offers a 60-day money-back guarantee.
