Our take: Sheetify CRM suits solo owners and tiny teams who already live in Google Sheets and Gmail and want a cheap, no-subscription CRM they can tweak. Skip it if you need a polished standalone app, high-volume email sending, or deep customization without Apps Script knowledge.

What we like

  • One-time $39 price instead of a monthly CRM subscription
  • Pipeline, tasks, inventory, tickets and Gmail campaigns in one Google Sheet
  • Data stays in your own Google Drive
  • Lifetime plan updates are included, per the listing

Watch out for

  • Gmail sending limits apply, and the vendor suggests staying around 100-250 emails per sender
  • Core automations are locked, and advanced edits need Google Apps Script knowledge
  • Only a short founder pitch is available, so the interface is not demonstrated

What Sheetify CRM is

Sheetify CRM is a customer relationship management tool that runs entirely inside Google Sheets. You don’t log into a separate web app. You copy a template into your own Google Drive, and Google Apps Script powers the automations.

Sheetify CRM product screen

According to the listing, one sheet covers contacts and leads, a visual sales pipeline, task tracking, inventory, support tickets and Gmail campaigns. The pitch is to skip the monthly CRM subscription and keep your data in a file you already own.

The trade-off is that you work inside a spreadsheet, not a purpose-built app. Setup, per the listing FAQ, takes three steps:

  • Copy the template to your Drive (File > Create a copy).
  • Click Sheetify > Set Up Sheetify.
  • Grant the requested authorizations.

Key features

Here is what the listing says is included:

  • Contacts and leads: store type, source and date added for each record.
  • Visual multi-stage pipeline: see which deal needs attention next, and tie deals to inventory items.
  • Task tracker: owners, priorities and due dates, with color-coded status labels for overdue work and automatic email notifications when a status changes.
  • Ticket management: a built-in way to handle support requests.
  • Revenue reporting: total deals, value and average deal size per stage, won versus lost deals, customer lifetime value, and a performance dashboard that refreshes on its own.
  • Gmail bulk campaigns: send personalized emails from your own Gmail account. Templates cover proposals, follow-ups, discovery calls and event invites, with merge fields for names and companies. You can also import contacts from Gmail.
  • Calls and messaging: the vendor documents a feature that makes phone numbers clickable and can open WhatsApp, Google Voice or iMessage. That suggests it hands off to those apps rather than acting as its own phone system.

The listing also mentions an add-on called Sheetify Flow. It links multiple Sheetify templates, such as CRM, Bookkeeping and Projects, so you can switch on pre-made automations that sync data and cut double entry.

What the demo video shows

The video is titled “From the Founders Sheetify CRM + AppSumo”. It is a short pitch from founder Stuart Gould, not a product walkthrough.

In it he says Sheetify is built with Google Sheets and Apps Script and is about “saying no to expensive and increasing business subscriptions.” He promises everything a business owner needs “without the fluff, without the subscription,” plus lifetime updates. He also mentions CRM, project management and bookkeeping toolkits.

The transcript doesn’t walk through the pipeline, the campaign tool or the dashboard. So we can’t point to demo evidence for how any of them work or how polished they are. The feature claims above come from the listing alone.

Pricing and the AppSumo deal

There are two lifetime tiers:

  • Tier 1: $39 (listed at $100)
  • Tier 2: $99 (listed at $280)

Both include lifetime access to Sheetify CRM and plan updates. The listing says updates cover the Sheetify CRM, Bookkeeping and Project plans. If your plan name changes, it should transfer automatically to the new plan.

Check these terms before you buy:

  • You must activate your license within 60 days.
  • You can upgrade while the deal is live, but you can only downgrade within 60 days of purchase.
  • Access to future AI models may come at a discounted rate or may require an add-on. The listing says either could apply, so don’t assume AI features are free.
  • The plan feature table is hard to read. The nine CRM features are marked as included on both tiers. The bookkeeping and project features, such as invoicing, financial dashboards, Gantt and kanban views, and an AI receipt scanner, are marked differently across the two columns. The listing text doesn’t make clear which tier gets what, so confirm that on the AppSumo page if those extras matter to you.

There are practical limits too. The listing says Workspace accounts may send up to 500 emails a day. It recommends staying around 100-250 per sender for deliverability. That is fine for follow-ups and small outreach, but it is not a replacement for a dedicated email platform if you send large volumes.

Customization has limits as well. You can adjust date formats, add sheets and columns, and edit dropdowns in the Settings sheet. Some automation areas are locked, and renaming core sheets or changing automation logic needs Apps Script knowledge or developer services.

Who it’s for (and who should skip it)

A good fit if you:

  • Already run your business out of Google Sheets and Gmail.
  • Are a solo owner or small team who wants contacts, deals, tasks and simple email outreach in one place.
  • Want to avoid recurring CRM fees and are comfortable with a spreadsheet interface.
  • Like the idea of tweaking dropdowns and layouts yourself.

Consider skipping if you:

  • Need a polished, standalone app with mobile apps and deep integrations. The listing doesn’t promise these.
  • Send high-volume email campaigns, given the Gmail limits.
  • Want heavy customization but have no Apps Script experience.
  • Want proof of how it looks and feels before paying. The only video is a founder pitch, and we haven’t tested the tool hands-on.

Sheetify CRM price and limits

At $39 the downside is small, and the 60-day activation window gives some room to try it. Treat the listing’s claims as marketing copy until you’ve copied the template and tried your own data.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate app or login to use Sheetify CRM?

According to the listing, no. It is a Google Sheets template you copy into your own Google Drive. You then run Sheetify > Set Up Sheetify from the sheet's menu and grant the requested authorizations.

Are there limits on the Gmail email campaigns?

Yes. The listing says Google Workspace accounts may send up to 500 emails per day. It recommends staying within roughly 100-250 emails per sender for better deliverability, and using multiple accounts to scale.

Can I customize Sheetify CRM?

Partly. According to the listing, you can change date formats, add sheets and columns, and edit dropdowns such as Source, Type and Sales Status in the Settings sheet. Some areas that power automations are locked, and deeper changes need Google Apps Script knowledge.
