HubSpot Lifetime Deal Alternatives: 4 AppSumo Tools Compared
Four AppSumo lifetime deals named as HubSpot alternatives, from a $39 Google Sheets CRM to an AI outreach tool. See what each does, where it's thin, and who it suits.
Both are $49 AppSumo client management deals, but CoachPro Tools helps you run coaching sessions and OnboardHive helps you close and onboard clients.

CoachPro Tools takes 4 rounds, OnboardHive takes 1.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Proposals and client onboarding | OnboardHive | OnboardHive turns one proposal link into a portal with typed e-signature, deposit confirmation, intake and stalled-step reminders, while CoachPro Tools lists none of that. |
| Session content | CoachPro Tools | CoachPro Tools ships 285+ interactive tools in 15 categories with PDF output, and OnboardHive has nothing comparable. |
| Scheduling | CoachPro Tools | CoachPro Tools includes a calendar with a public self-booking page and Google Calendar, while OnboardHive doesn't mention scheduling. |
| Pricing clarity | CoachPro Tools | CoachPro Tools has one $49 tier, while OnboardHive's three-column feature table doesn't say which column belongs to which price. |
| White-label branding | Tie | CoachPro Tools sells white label as an add-on with no listed price, and OnboardHive appears to gate it to higher tiers, though the tier mapping is unclear. |
| Track record | CoachPro Tools | CoachPro Tools has 12 AppSumo reviews averaging 4.92, against one review at 4.00 for OnboardHive, though both samples are small. |

You’ve probably seen both of these on AppSumo’s Client Management page, and both name Dubsado and HoneyBook as the thing they replace. Don’t let that fool you. They solve different problems at different moments in a client relationship. One helps you run the hour you spend with a client. The other helps you win the client and get them started.

We haven’t used either tool. Everything below comes from the two listings, so treat it as a read of what the vendors say, not a verdict on how they behave.
CoachPro Tools is built for the live session. It’s a browser-based library of 285+ interactive exercises, plus a client file, a booking page and a video room. You open an exercise, share your screen on Zoom, Meet or Teams, guide the client through it, and send a PDF afterward.
OnboardHive works earlier in the relationship. It’s a proposal and onboarding tool. You send a proposal on a single link, watch how it’s read, and when the client accepts, that same link becomes an onboarding portal for signing, paying a deposit and filling in intake.
The overlap is thin. Both keep a record per client, both avoid client logins, and both let you export your data. Neither describes invoicing or automated billing. So the useful question isn’t which is better. It’s where your week actually leaks time.
If you spend the twenty minutes before each session hunting for worksheets, that’s CoachPro Tools territory. If you send a proposal and then spend days wondering what happened to it, that’s OnboardHive.
The core is the exercise library: 15 categories covering diagnostics, wellness, productivity, teams and more. The listing says these are real web apps with sliders, radar charts and forms that update live, not static PDFs. Search, recents and favorites help you find one mid-session, which matters with a library this large.
Around that sits a light client layer. Each client gets a profile with history, agreements and a workspace. Agreements sit on a kanban board, the client journey shows as a timeline, and live notes save to the client’s file automatically.
You also get a calendar with a public self-booking page, built-in 1:1 video calls, a whiteboard and mind map, and a WhatsApp AI agent with a recommender. That’s a wide list for $49, though the listing is vague on the WhatsApp agent. It doesn’t say what it does or what powers it.
There’s an oddity worth flagging. The main workflow in the listing is screen sharing on someone else’s video platform, yet the tool has its own video room. The listing never says when you’d choose one over the other, and there’s no product video to show the interface.
The headline feature is read tracking. Instead of an open receipt, OnboardHive says it measures active read time in 10 second heartbeats. You also get a re-open alert when a client returns 30 or more minutes later, section-level reports with scroll depth, and a lead temperature sort that stacks hot, warm and cool clients.
I like the idea, with a caveat. Engagement data is a nudge to pick up the phone, not proof of intent, and the listing doesn’t explain how lead temperature is scored.
Versioning is tidy. You publish v2 or v3 on the same URL, so no one reads an old PDF. You can gate the view by email, and the tool says it detects forwarding.
On acceptance, the link flips into a branded portal. The client signs with a typed e-signature, confirms the deposit and moves into intake. After that, auto-reminders email a stalled client the exact items still pending, and an AI step drafts a kickoff brief from the intake answers.
Two cautions. The e-signature is typed with a timestamp and user agent audit trail, and the listing itself says it can’t advise on your jurisdiction’s rules, so check before using it on a high-value contract. And the listing doesn’t say how deposits are collected or which payment provider is involved.

CoachPro Tools is simple. One tier, $49 (listed at $297), lifetime access and future plan updates. You must redeem within 60 days, and the deal doesn’t stack. AppSumo’s summary mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee. The listing states no caps on clients, sessions, storage or WhatsApp AI use, which could mean there are none or that nobody wrote them down. Ask.
OnboardHive has three tiers: $49 (list $549), $79 (list $999) and $199 (list $2,499). All include lifetime access, future updates and the ability to move between tiers, with activation within 60 days.
Here’s the problem. The feature table gives three columns of values with no labels tying them to prices. Going by the numbers, the third column looks like the $49 tier: 20 onboardings a month, 1,000 AI credits per user per month, and no white-label, custom domain, own-domain emails or API. The middle column looks like $79, with unlimited onboardings, 400 AI credits and white-label. The first looks like $199, adding 3 seats, approvals, analytics and a founder call.
That mapping is my guess, not something the listing states. If it’s right, the entry tier is quite limited for an agency that wants its own brand in front of clients. The credit numbers also look odd, since the weakest column shows 1,000 per user while the middle one shows 400 in total. The listing doesn’t explain this, or how many credits a kickoff brief uses.
Branding is where both listings ask you to do homework. CoachPro Tools says white label is not included. It’s an add-on that puts your logo, colors, name and typography on the dashboard and every PDF. No price is given, and AppSumo’s own review summary notes confusion about it.
OnboardHive seems to include white-label only above the entry tier, though the unlabeled table leaves room for a wrong guess. Either way, if clients seeing your brand is non-negotiable, confirm the real cost before you buy. For CoachPro Tools that means asking the vendor for the add-on price. For OnboardHive it means reading the tier table on the AppSumo page itself.
CoachPro Tools has 12 AppSumo reviews averaging 4.92 out of 5. That’s encouraging but still a small sample on a young listing. The tool was designed by Ariel Díaz, a coach with 28 years in the field, which suggests the exercises come from practice. It says nothing about whether updates will still be shipping in two years. Export covers client profiles, session notes, linked files and templates.
OnboardHive has one review at 4.00, which tells you almost nothing. Two of its feature sections end in empty bullet points, which looks like a page published before it was finished. Export covers proposals, intake answers and signature audit trails, and uploads can go to your own Google Drive, the only integration named.
Both listings offer a 60-day activation window, and CoachPro Tools adds a stated 60-day refund guarantee. For OnboardHive, check the current AppSumo refund terms. Whichever you buy, test the export early.
Buy CoachPro Tools if your income comes from live sessions and the pain is preparation. A solo coach or small practice that wants exercises, a booking page and a tidy client file at one clear price fits well. Skip it if you need invoicing, contracts, automations or multi-user seats, none of which the listing describes.
Buy OnboardHive if you sell with proposals and the pain is the gap between sending one and getting a client started. A solo consultant or small agency fits, as long as you’ve worked out which tier you’re buying. Skip it if you need scheduling, invoicing or a real contact database, or if a one-review product makes you nervous.

If both pains are real, the cost of wrongly guessing is low at $49 each, but don’t expect either to replace a full back office.
Not fully, going by the listings. Neither describes invoicing, recurring billing or automated workflows. OnboardHive comes closer on proposals, e-signature and onboarding, while CoachPro Tools covers booking and a client record.
For CoachPro Tools, no. It's a separate paid add-on with no listed price. For OnboardHive, the entry tier appears to exclude white-label and custom domain, but the listing doesn't label its columns, so confirm on the AppSumo page before buying.
No for both. CoachPro Tools clients just watch your screen during a session. OnboardHive clients work from a single link with no login at any point.
