Our take: NudgeForMe suits freelancers, consultants and small teams who lose deals when email threads go quiet and who want drafts waiting in their own inbox. Skip it if you need cold outreach or mass campaigns, or if you plan to buy the $49 tier expecting automatic sending, since that starts at the $169 tier. It is also a young product we haven't tried hands-on.

What we like

  • Drafts appear inside your own mailbox, on the existing thread where supported
  • Draft mode is the default, so you review everything before it goes out
  • Stops follow-ups when it detects a reply, bounce or out-of-office message
  • Five lifetime tiers, with upgrades and downgrades between them allowed

Watch out for

  • Automatic sending, timezone-aware windows and attachments start at the $169 tier
  • The $49 tier has 1 mailbox, 250 drafts a month and only Gmail and Outlook
  • Built for existing conversations only, not cold outreach or campaigns

What NudgeForMe is

NudgeForMe (also called Nudge) is an email follow-up tool. It connects to your mailbox, looks through past conversations, and flags threads that may still need a reply. For each one it writes a follow-up draft based on the original conversation.

NudgeForMe product screen

The listing is clear about what it is not. It is not a cold outreach or email marketing tool. It is meant for real threads that went quiet, such as proposals, client conversations, approvals, hiring threads, partnerships and support conversations.

Key features

According to the listing, every plan includes the core experience:

  • Missed follow-up discovery: Nudge looks at conversation context, timing and whether a response still seems to be expected. It aims to filter out completed conversations, closing notes, FYIs, newsletters and obvious no-reply messages.
  • Native mailbox drafts: drafts are created inside your connected mailbox and, where supported, kept on the existing thread. You review and send from the email app you already use.
  • Reply monitoring: Nudge stops future follow-ups when it detects a reply. It can also stop or adjust them after a bounce, an out-of-office response or a request to reconnect later.
  • Multilingual drafting, safeguards, and contact and domain controls.

Higher tiers add more. Custom writing instructions start at Plan 2. Optional automatic sending, timezone-aware send windows and inclusion of previous attachments start at Plan 3. A “Research & Draft” option using supported enrichment providers appears only on the two top tiers.

What the demo video shows

The demo video is a short, high-level pitch rather than a walkthrough. It describes this flow:

  1. Nudge connects to your inbox and scans past emails for conversations that may still need a response.
  2. It uses the original thread to write a natural, personalized follow-up draft.
  3. You review it, edit it and send it when ready.
  4. Once you are comfortable, you can switch on automatic sending, and Nudge keeps scanning and following up until you get a reply.

The video says setup takes under five minutes. We haven’t verified that claim, and the video does not show the interface in detail, so you can’t judge draft quality or the review screen from it.

Pricing and the AppSumo deal

The deal is a lifetime license with five tiers. Per the listing, all tiers include all future plan updates and GDPR compliance, and you can upgrade or downgrade between tiers. You must activate your license within 60 days of purchase, and there are no codes and no stacking. The deal ends on 2026-10-31.

Tier Price (list) Mailboxes Workspaces / team Lookback Drafts per month
Plan 1 $49 ($228) 1 1 / 1 3 months 250
Plan 2 $99 ($468) 3 1 / 1 6 months 1,000
Plan 3 $169 ($1,188) 6 3 / 3 1 year 3,000
Plan 4 $289 ($2,388) 15 5 / 5 2 years 5,000
Plan 5 $579 ($4,788) 50 Unlimited 4 years 12,000

Follow-ups per opportunity are capped at 3 on Plan 1 and 5 on Plans 2 and 3’s lower neighbours, as the listing puts it: up to 3 on Plan 1, up to 5 on Plan 2, and until reply from Plan 3 up. Note that the “list price” figures are the vendor’s own comparison numbers.

The main limits to weigh are the monthly draft caps and the lookback window. A 3-month lookback on the $49 tier means older stalled conversations may not be found.

Who it’s for (and who should skip it)

A good fit if you:

  • Run a service business, freelance or consult, and deals depend on email replies.
  • Want drafts waiting in your own inbox instead of a separate app.
  • Prefer to review messages before they go out.
  • Manage several client inboxes (Plan 3 and above offer multiple workspaces and team members).

Skip it if you:

  • Need cold email, sequences or mass outreach. The listing says it is not designed for that.
  • Want automatic sending on a small budget. That feature is not in the $49 or $99 tiers.
  • Use Yahoo, iCloud or another IMAP mailbox and only want the $49 tier.
  • Are wary of young products. We haven’t tested NudgeForMe hands-on, so draft quality and detection accuracy are unconfirmed.

NudgeForMe price and limits

Overall, the $49 tier is a low-risk way to try the idea on one Gmail or Outlook inbox, and the listing describes tier changes as possible. Check the 60-day activation window and AppSumo’s refund terms before buying.
