Our take: Buy Tier 1 or 2 if you build prospect lists now and then and want a cheap finder and verifier you can check against a real list inside the 60-day refund window. Pay for Tier 3 or 4 only if you need the API or already use Claude Code. Skip it if you want a full prospecting platform with CRM sync and sending.
Picture a spreadsheet with 600 company names, a domain beside each one, and an empty column where the email addresses should be. You can guess firstname@ and f.lastname@ patterns by hand, or you can pay for a data subscription that charges per seat. Mailsfinder, now a lifetime deal on AppSumo, is a cheaper third route. You give it names and domains, and it works out the address and checks whether it’s live.

You upload a CSV, XLSX or Google Sheet of names and domains, up to 10,000 at once. According to the listing, each domain is tested against more than 1,000 address patterns, run in parallel. You get a downloadable file back where every row is marked found, verified, catch-all or not found, plus a confidence score per address.
That score matters. It lets you set your own threshold before anything goes into a campaign, instead of trusting a yes or no.
The listing also says Mailsfinder checks live rather than reading from a stored database. That can mean fresher results than a static contact list. It also means the tool depends on mail servers answering its probes, and the listing doesn’t say what happens when a server refuses to talk. Ask about that before you buy.
Every address gets an RFC syntax check, an MX lookup and a direct SMTP handshake. You also get a diagnostics report with a quality score, the MX host and the mail provider.
The part we like is how catch-all domains are handled. A catch-all server accepts mail for any address, so no tool can confirm a specific mailbox exists there. Mailsfinder reports those as their own status instead of calling them valid. That’s the honest way to do it, and it leaves the send-or-skip decision with you. It also means a list with many catch-all domains will have rows you have to judge yourself.
The listing publishes 95%+ accuracy for finding and 99% for verification. Those are the vendor’s numbers. The listing offers no independent test behind them, so treat them as a claim to check against your own list.
The credit rules are simple. One verification is one credit. A successful find is three credits. A find that comes back empty is free.
Each tier has a daily limit that resets at midnight UTC and a monthly allowance that resets on the first of the month. You’re held to whichever you hit first. Nothing rolls over.
For most buyers the daily cap is the one to watch. Tier 1 allows 3,000 credits a day. If every find succeeds, that’s roughly 1,000 finds a day. A 10,000-row upload where most rows hit could need around 30,000 credits, which is ten days of Tier 1 allowance. The listing doesn’t say whether a big upload queues across days or gets refused, and it doesn’t spell out whether finds count toward the daily verification limit. We’d want that answered in writing.

The listing prints the plan features in an order that looks reversed, with the biggest numbers first. We’ve matched them to tiers using the statements that API access and the skills start at Tier 3.
The jump from Tier 2 to Tier 3 is $100, and most of what it buys is API access and better support. If you only work from spreadsheets, that’s hard to justify. If you want to wire the finder into Make or n8n, it’s the entry point. The listing says you can move between tiers, and you must activate your license within 60 days of purchase.
Tiers 3 and 4 add outbound skills for Claude Code. Tier 3 gets three: an ICP builder, prospect research and a cold email writer. Tier 4 gets the full library of 20, covering subject lines, follow-up sequences and deliverability audits. Each comes with a plain-English playbook, and Tier 4 adds the 14-day outbound challenge in the Discord community.
We see these as a bonus, not the reason to buy. They only work if you run Claude Code, and the listing doesn’t cover what that costs you separately. If you don’t already use it, treat the skills as worth nothing and judge the tiers on credits and API alone.
If you want one platform that finds leads, enriches them, syncs to a CRM and sends the campaign, this isn’t that. The listed integrations are Google Sheets, Make, n8n and a REST API. The listing doesn’t mention a browser extension, CRM sync or a sending tool, so plan on pairing Mailsfinder with other software.
The listing also gives no company history, user numbers or customer reviews of the product itself, so we can’t tell you how established it is. The compliance answer is thin too. It says only that data is sourced with a compliance-first approach and is GDPR ready. If you email contacts in Europe, ask for specifics first.

The safest way to buy is to use the 60-day refund window on purpose. Take a list where you already know some of the right addresses, run it through, and compare the found and catch-all counts with what you know is true. If the results hold up, the lifetime price is easy to justify. If they don’t, you still have time to get your money back.
One verification costs one credit. A successful find costs three credits, and a find that returns nothing is free. Finding and verifying draw from the same balance.
Tier 3 ($149) and Tier 4 ($249). Tier 3 gets 60 requests per minute and Tier 4 gets 120. Tiers 1 and 2 are dashboard and file upload only.
No. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC and monthly allowances reset on the first of the month. Whichever limit you hit first applies, and unused credits don't carry over.
