Our take: Worth a look if you run a few influencer campaigns a year and want verified creator emails without a monthly subscription. Skip the $59 tier if you do outreach at volume, and skip the deal entirely if you only need a handful of creators. The 60-day refund window makes testing it cheap.

What we like

  • Plain-English search across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Every export includes a verified email, with phone numbers when available
  • Exports to CSV, Mailchimp and Klaviyo
  • 60-day money-back guarantee and a one-time price from $59

Watch out for

  • Tier 1 gives only 100 credits a month and no launch bonus
  • MCP access is limited to Tier 2 and Tier 3
  • Young product with unproven data accuracy claims, and future AI models may cost extra

You’ve got a product, a modest budget, and a spreadsheet of influencer names that’s half out of date. The hard part of creator marketing isn’t writing the pitch. It’s finding the right people and then finding an email address that doesn’t bounce.

Creator Lookup product screen

Creator Lookup is aimed squarely at that gap. It’s a search tool for creators on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with contact details attached. AppSumo sells it as a lifetime deal, and the listing positions it as an alternative to Modash, Upfluence and Grin. Those are all pricier subscription tools, so the comparison tells you what the deal is trying to undercut.

Searching in plain English

The main way in is a text box. You type something like “tech reviewers in the US” and the tool returns matches from what the listing calls 400M+ profiles. That number is the vendor’s, and we can’t confirm it.

From there you can narrow by followers, location, language and gender. You can also match on bio keywords, caption keywords and hashtags, or filter by average views, engagement rate, and audience age or location. That’s a sensible set of filters for a small brand. Audience location in particular matters if you ship to one country only.

There are two shortcuts for people who don’t want to start from a blank box. You can paste your website URL and get suggestions matched to your brand. Or you can use the lookalike filter to find creators similar to ones you already like. The URL feature sounds handy, but the listing doesn’t explain how it decides what’s a match, so treat it as a starting point.

Vetting and organizing a shortlist

Each profile panel shows followers, reach, average views and engagement per platform. You can also scan recent posts, extra emails and other links on the same screen. The listing says this means no tab-hopping.

The site FAQ also mentions fake-follower flags and an audience quality checker. The listing doesn’t say how those are calculated, so don’t treat a clean score as proof. Look at the recent posts yourself before you spend budget on someone.

Saved lists work the way you’d expect. You save creators from any search into a list, group lists into folders by campaign, niche or client, and drag them around. That folder structure is a small thing, but agencies juggling several clients will appreciate it.

Exports go out as CSV, or straight to Mailchimp, Klaviyo and other email service providers. The site FAQ also names Smartlead and Instantly. Phone numbers come with exports only “when available”, which is an honest hedge. Don’t plan a text-message campaign around them.

What the demo video shows

The video is a founder pitch from Mateo, co-founder of Creator Lookup, not a product walkthrough. As far as the transcript goes, there’s no screen recording of a search, so it doesn’t prove how the tool feels to use.

What it does give us is context and one useful detail. Mateo says he and his co-founder spent five years running influencer campaigns for brands including Netflix and Poshmark, and built the tool they wanted. That’s a believable origin story, though it’s the seller telling it. He also cites a CNBC figure of $44 billion in creator spending this year, which is a market claim we haven’t checked.

The detail that matters is the credit rule: every credit is one creator with their email. He also mentions that you can search from inside Claude or ChatGPT through the MCP integration. The transcript is also muddled on database size. It says “a million creators” where the listing says 400M+, so ask about that before you rely on the bigger number.

The credit math behind the deal

There are three lifetime tiers, and credits are the whole story.

  • Tier 1, $59 (was $299): 100 credits a month, no launch bonus, no MCP.
  • Tier 2, $119 (was $479): 300 credits a month, 1,500 launch bonus credits, MCP included.
  • Tier 3, $229 (was $639): 800 credits a month, 3,500 launch bonus credits, MCP included.

The video calls Tier 2 the recommended one. It gives you 1,800 creators in your first month, then 300 each month after. That’s the best value of the three if you plan to run campaigns steadily.

Tier 1 is the weak spot. At 100 credits a month you can export 100 creators with emails, and that’s it. For a founder doing one small seeding campaign a quarter, that might be plenty. For an agency pitching several clients, it runs out fast. The listing also doesn’t say whether unused credits roll over, so assume they don’t until the seller says otherwise.

The list prices look inflated to us, as they often do on AppSumo. Judge the deal by what 100, 300 or 800 credits a month covers for you, not by the crossed-out number.

Where the listing goes quiet

The AppSumo review summary mentions server performance and credit limits as minor complaints. We’d take both seriously, because credits are the product and a slow server is annoying when you’re building lists. The site claims about 0.7 second median search time, but that’s the vendor’s own benchmark.

The listing doesn’t say whether searching or viewing a profile costs credits, or only exporting does. The video suggests one credit per creator with an email, but the exact rule isn’t spelled out. Get that answered before you buy.

The site also mentions REST API access and webhooks, but the listing never says whether those are included in the lifetime tiers. Same for the free tools like the rate calculator and contract generator. And the terms say access to future AI models may be discounted or may need an add-on. So “lifetime” covers the plan, not necessarily every new feature.

One more thing. With 26 reviews averaging 4.81, the early sentiment is good. But this is a young product, and AppSumo’s summary is marketing copy. Contact data goes stale, and the site says verified contacts update weekly. We can’t tell you how accurate they are in practice.

Who should skip it

Skip the deal if you only need a few creators once. Pay for a single month of a subscription tool or do the research by hand. Skip Tier 1 if you expect to send outreach in volume, because 100 credits a month won’t last.

Also skip it if you need deep analytics, campaign payments or contract management in one place. Based on the listing, this is a discovery and contact tool, not a full influencer platform like Grin.

Creator Lookup price and limits

It makes sense for small ecommerce brands and solo marketers who run creator campaigns a few times a year and mostly need good lists with working emails. The deal ends on December 7, 2026, and the 60-day refund window means you can check search quality and email accuracy on a real campaign before you’re locked in. If it holds up, Tier 2 is the one we’d look at first.
