You’ve got a small site, a little budget, and one question you can’t answer: where did the people who actually paid or enquired come from? Google Analytics will tell you eventually, after a lot of clicking. Seline and SourceXray both promise a shorter route, and both are on AppSumo as lifetime deals starting at $59.

Seline and SourceXray side by side

They don’t answer the same question, though, and that’s the thing to settle before you compare prices. We haven’t used either tool, so everything here comes from the listings and their FAQs.

Two different questions

Seline is a privacy-first analytics tool. It tracks visits, pageviews, bounce rate, sources, top pages, user journeys and funnels from one script, and it ties revenue back to the channels that produced it. Its natural buyer is a small SaaS founder, a blogger who sells something, or a shop owner who already uses Stripe.

SourceXray is a lead source tracker. You add one line of code, and every form enquiry gets tagged with the ad, keyword, campaign or website behind it. Its natural buyer runs Google Ads or Microsoft Ads, or manages sites for clients, and gets leads through contact forms.

So the split is simple. If your success event is a payment, look at Seline. If it’s a form submission, a call or a WhatsApp click, look at SourceXray.

Attribution: money versus enquiries

Seline’s revenue story is its best idea. Revenue comes in through the Stripe integration, or through custom revenue events with an amount and currency. It then shows MRR and attribution by channel, UTM and referrer. You can also build funnels and filter them by referrer, campaign or any custom attribute.

There’s a gap, though. The listing doesn’t say whether attribution is first touch or last touch, or how far back it looks. If you plan to move ad spend based on it, that’s the first thing to ask.

SourceXray is more specific about the journey. It records how someone first found you, even weeks before they got in touch, plus every visit in between. It promises the exact Google Ads and Microsoft Ads keyword behind each paid lead, and it gives leads from ChatGPT and other AI tools their own channel.

The feature we’d value most is marking leads as qualified or won. A campaign that brings 50 enquiries from people who never buy is worse than one that brings 8 who do. Without that outcome marking, source tracking only tells you about volume.

The flip side is that SourceXray’s listing says nothing about purchases or revenue. If you run an online store, don’t assume it fits.

What the tiers actually give you

Both deals have five tiers, and both listings print their feature tables from largest to smallest while the prices run from smallest to largest. That’s confusing, and in both cases we’re inferring the mapping.

For Seline, the tiers are $59, $129, $289, $399 and $599, with pageview caps of 1,000,000 / 550,000 / 275,000 / 125,000 / 25,000. Read literally, $59 buys a million pageviews, which looks too good to be true. The likelier reading is 25,000 at $59 and a million at $599. The listing doesn’t spell it out, so confirm before you pay.

For SourceXray, the tiers are $59, $118, $177, $236 and $295:

  • $59: 1,000 leads and 10,000 page views a month, 5 AI messages, 12 months of lead history, no Zapier, CRM or webhooks.
  • $118: 5,000 leads, 25,000 page views, 15 AI messages, 24 months of history.
  • $177: 15,000 leads, 50,000 page views, 40 AI messages.
  • $236: 40,000 leads, 100,000 page views, 60 AI messages.
  • $295: 100,000 leads, 200,000 page views, 80 AI messages.

The $59 SourceXray tier is tight. Ten thousand page views goes quickly, and when you hit the cap, visitor stats pause until next month, though leads and alerts keep working. Five AI messages barely covers setting up a few goals and fixing one mistake. If you want Zapier, HubSpot or GoHighLevel, you need to stack at least two codes, so the real starting price for that is $118.

Seline’s terms add their own wrinkles. You must activate within 60 days, you can only downgrade within 60 days of purchase, and access to future AI models may be discounted or may need an add-on. That last line is vague, and we’d treat it as a possible extra cost. AppSumo also lists a 60-day money-back guarantee, and the listing’s end date for the deal is November 1, 2026, so check it’s still open.

Ignore both list prices. They tell you little about what you’d pay elsewhere.

Setup, privacy and what’s missing

Seline’s script is about 2KB, and it promises no cookies or consent banners. Integrations are Google Tag Manager, Shopify, Stripe, Webflow and WordPress, and there’s a public API for querying events. AppSumo’s own review summary mentions that some buyers found project setup confusing, so expect a little fiddling despite the one-snippet pitch.

SourceXray works with a long list of form builders, including Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Typeform, Tally, Jotform and HubSpot forms, without changing the forms. It covers WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and Framer, and you can install through Google Tag Manager or a WordPress plugin. Its AI setup assistant builds Tag Manager tags and GA4 key events in a labelled workspace, and nothing goes live until you approve it. That’s careful design, but the message cap on the entry tier limits how much you’ll use it.

On privacy, SourceXray gives more detail: no IP addresses stored, country taken from the visitor’s time zone, no fingerprinting, optional cookie consent, and a Data Processing Addendum. Seline’s privacy claims are shorter but point the same way.

Retention is where the listings differ most. SourceXray says leads are kept for 12 or 24 months, and single visits for 90 days before only daily totals remain. Seline’s listing doesn’t mention retention, seat limits or how many sites a plan covers. Those are real gaps for anyone with several sites.

How much to trust a young product

Seline shows 9 AppSumo reviews with a 4.89 average. That’s encouraging, but nine reviews is a small sample, and early buyers tend to be enthusiastic.

SourceXray’s listing shows no reviews, no founding date, no customer count and no roadmap. We found no product video for either tool, so there’s nothing to judge the interface by.

Lifetime deals depend on the company surviving for years. With either one, start at the lowest tier you can live with and use the refund or redemption window to see it work on your own site. Seline’s listing states a 60-day money-back guarantee. SourceXray’s listing gives a 60-day redemption window but doesn’t mention a refund, so check the deal page.

Which one to buy

Pick Seline if you take payments through Stripe, want a clean replacement for Google Analytics, and care about knowing which sources produce paying customers. Choose your tier by real monthly pageviews, and check the cap before checkout.

Pick SourceXray if you run ads or look after client sites, get your results through forms, calls and WhatsApp, and need to see which keyword or campaign sent each lead. Budget for the $118 tier if you want CRM or Zapier connections.

Who should pick Seline or SourceXray

If you don’t fit either description, such as a store with no Stripe or a site with no ads and a handful of enquiries, a free analytics tool may be enough, and neither deal is urgent.

Frequently asked questions

Can either one fully replace Google Analytics?

Seline covers visits, sources, funnels and revenue in a Google Analytics alternative format. SourceXray says you don't need Google Analytics for its stats, but it recommends keeping GA4 if you run ads. Neither listing mentions custom dashboards or deep reporting.

Which has more traffic room on the $59 tier?

SourceXray's $59 tier allows 10,000 page views and 1,000 leads a month. Seline's most likely reading is 25,000 pageviews at $59, but the listing orders the caps backwards, so confirm on the deal page.

Which is better for an agency with several client sites?

SourceXray. Every tier has unlimited websites and per-client alert routing, though leads and page views are shared across all sites. Seline's listing doesn't say how many sites a plan allows.
