Linktree Alternatives on Lifetime Deal: 5 Tools Compared
Five AppSumo lifetime deals named as Linktree alternatives, from $19 to $59 entry prices. See who each suits and what the listings leave out.
GSEO Editor scores and improves the pages you write. Recometric checks if ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude recommend your business. Here's which deal fits.

GSEO Editor takes 2 rounds, Recometric takes 3.
| Round | Winner | Why |

| Risk and buyer feedback | GSEO Editor | AppSumo's summary mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee for GSEO Editor, plus three reviews averaging 4.00, and the Recometric listing shows neither. |

Picture a customer asking an AI assistant for a local recommendation. It names two or three businesses, and yours isn’t one of them. Nothing in your Google rankings warned you. Both of these lifetime deals respond to that shift, but they come at it from opposite ends, so it helps to know which problem you actually have.

GSEO Editor is a writing workspace. You paste a URL or some text, and it scores the page for SEO, GEO, E-E-A-T and readability. The scores update as you edit, so you fix things before you publish.
Recometric works from the other side. It never touches your writing. It sends customer-style questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, then records if you’re named, where you land in a ranked answer and how positive the tone is. It also audits your website and your Google Business Profile evidence.
One is a tool you work inside. The other is a report you read. If you publish articles regularly, GSEO Editor is the closer fit. If you run a plumbing company or a dental practice and mostly want to know where you stand, Recometric is.
The feature worth caring about is Path to 100. It turns each weakness into a ranked checklist and shows the points each fix is worth. That beats a vague overall score, because you know what to do first.
Ask GSEO, the built-in assistant, can rewrite passages, work in keywords and draft FAQs. The listing says it never overwrites your copy unless you choose to let it. You also get guided E-E-A-T prompts and automatic Article, FAQ, HowTo and Breadcrumb schema. For a small business that has never added schema, that could save real time, assuming it works as described.
One claim deserves a shrug. The listing says Ask GSEO is trained on the latest Google Search guidance, so its advice is always current. It gives no detail on how that’s maintained, so judge the advice rather than the promise.
GSEO Editor also tracks if ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity cite your brand, with share-of-voice and sentiment against competitors. That’s where it overlaps with Recometric. The catch is in the listing’s FAQ: AI-engine citation audits use pay-as-you-go credits. It mentions a starter balance and top-up packs but gives no numbers for either.
The core output is a 0 to 100 score built from AI answers, website evidence and Google Business Profile data. The Google part is capped at 30%, so a tidy listing can’t pass for real AI visibility. The other 70% uses a formula the listing doesn’t spell out.
Two design choices stand out. The questions never contain your business name, so a mention has to be earned. And if one assistant doesn’t answer, that answer carries no weight instead of counting as zero, and you get a likely range rather than one confident number.
The bigger claim is that every input is stored on your scan, so you can rebuild the score without an AI call or access to Recometric’s code. We haven’t verified that, but it’s easier to check than what most scoring tools offer. It still doesn’t show that the score predicts customers or revenue, and the listing offers no such proof.
Competitor tracking covers up to 5 competitors using the same questions. That context matters, because a score of 42 means little on its own.

Both deals have three tiers, lifetime access, future plan updates and a 60-day window to activate your license.
GSEO Editor costs $79, $299 or $599, with list prices of $228, $1,908 and $9,588. The tiers differ mainly by active page count, but the listing gives no page numbers. It also mentions white-label exports and team seats on agency and higher tiers without saying which AppSumo tier that means.
Recometric costs $49, $399 or $999, with list prices of $490, $990 and $1,490. Tier 1 gets a daily full scan of 12 live checks and 10 extra scan credits, but no competitor mentions, archive, alerts feed or priority support. Tier 2 adds all of those. Tier 3 has the same features as tier 2 but scans weekly instead of daily.
That last detail is odd. Paying $600 more than tier 2 for fewer scans makes no sense on the page, and the listing doesn’t explain it. It could be a typo. Ask before you spend that much. The listing also doesn’t say how many businesses or locations a license covers, or what extra credits cost. Its FAQ even mentions plans that renew automatically and a Pro trial, which sits oddly beside a lifetime deal. Treat that as unclear until you confirm it.
Ignore the list prices on both. A $9,588 list price isn’t a number many buyers ever paid.
Buy GSEO Editor’s $79 tier if you write a few articles a month and want a checklist before you hit publish. A solo marketer or copywriter fits well. AppSumo’s summary mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee, which makes a trial cheap. Check the credit cost for citation audits before you lean on the AI visibility reports, and find out the page cap before you commit.
Buy Recometric’s $49 tier if you have one location and want a baseline. It’s the cheaper way to find out if assistants name you at all, and the free scan lets you look before you pay. Know what you’re giving up, though. Without competitor tracking, an archive and alerts, tier 1 is a snapshot more than a monitoring system.
If you want a full SEO suite with rank tracking, site audits and backlink data, neither is it. Recometric says so in its own FAQ. GSEO Editor lists Semrush as an integration rather than a rival.

There’s a case for owning both, since one improves what you publish and the other shows how AI assistants respond to it. If budget allows only one, pick by the job you do every week. Writing most days points to GSEO Editor. Writing rarely, and mainly wanting to see where AI assistants place you, points to Recometric. We haven’t tested either, and GSEO Editor’s demo video transcript was empty, so use any refund period or free scan to check the claims above.
No. GSEO Editor is a writing workspace that scores and improves your pages. Recometric measures how AI assistants describe and recommend your business, and it audits your site. Some buyers will want both.
Recometric's tier 1 is $49, and its FAQ mentions a free scan with no credit card. GSEO Editor's tier 1 is $79, and AppSumo's summary mentions a 60-day money-back guarantee. The credit costs for GSEO Editor's AI audits aren't stated.
Neither looks like one. Recometric's own FAQ says SEO tools track Google rankings and it does something different. GSEO Editor lists Semrush as an integration and shows no backlink data or large keyword database.
