Consently Review: Cheap Cookie Consent, Odd Tier Math
Consently is a cookie consent tool with scanning, policy templates and Google CMP status, sold on AppSumo from $39. Here's what the listing covers and where it's thin.
Framekit is a hosted AI site builder for creatives. SKT Themes is 420+ WordPress themes with unlimited-site rights. Here is who should buy which.

Framekit takes 2 rounds, WordPress Themes Bundle by SKT Themes takes 1.
| Round | Winner | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Getting a site live | Framekit | Framekit includes hosting, SSL and a CDN, while SKT themes still need your own WordPress install, hosting and plugins. |
| Client work and licensing | WordPress Themes Bundle by SKT Themes | SKT allows unlimited websites, white-label use and client projects, while Framekit caps you at 1, 5 or 15 sites depending on tier. |
| Tools for photographers and filmmakers | Framekit | Framekit adds client galleries, frame-level video comments with versioning, and digital product sales that SKT's theme bundle has no equivalent for. |
| Online selling | Tie | Framekit sells digital downloads through your Stripe with a 5% fee on lower tiers, while SKT themes work with WooCommerce for a fuller shop. |
| Refund safety and proof | Tie | SKT says all sales are final, and Framekit's listing has one review and no independent proof of its AI output. |

Say you’ve just landed a client who wants a new website by the end of the month. You can pay for a hosted builder where everything lives behind one login, or you can buy a big library of WordPress themes and build the thing yourself. Both are lifetime deals on AppSumo, and both promise a finished site. They get you there very differently.

Framekit is an AI website builder with its own hosting. You pick a template or a blank page, change the words and photos, and publish. The listing says hosting, SSL and a global CDN come with unlimited, unbranded pages on your own domain. Nothing to install.
SKT Themes sells something else. The bundle is 420+ WordPress themes plus plugins, with lifetime updates and support. You still need WordPress, hosting and a plan for maintenance. The listing names Shopify, Squarespace and Wix as alternatives, but this is a theme collection, not a hosted product.
That’s the whole decision in one line. Framekit sells a finished service. SKT sells good raw material.
If you’ve never touched WordPress, that gap is big. If you already run WordPress sites, it barely registers.
Framekit leans hard into creative work. You can share client galleries for photos and videos with favorites and one-click downloads. Clients can comment on the exact frame of a video and draw on it. Upload a v2 or v3 and older cuts keep their notes. Reviews get marked approved or needs changes, and clients never need an account. For a filmmaker who is tired of email chains, that’s a real use case, and it’s the main reason to look at Framekit over a generic builder.
There’s more. You can sell presets, LUTs, templates and ebooks through your own Stripe account, make AI-written pitch decks that export to PDF or PowerPoint, and translate your site. The selling fee is where the listing contradicts itself. The feature section says a 5% Framekit fee applies on Tiers 1 and 2 and 1% on Tier 3. The plan table, though, shows “0% transaction fee on product sales” as true for Tier 1 only. We can’t tell which is right, so ask before you count on a number.
SKT’s extras are the ones you’d expect from a theme shop. There’s a 1-click demo importer, support for Elementor, Gutenberg, Brizy and Beaver Builder (some packs are built around one builder), and WooCommerce compatibility on every theme. You also get unlimited color picker options and 800+ font-based social icons. Useful, but ordinary for premium themes.
SKT also says its themes are coded for core web vitals and work with Cloudflare and WP Rocket. There are no benchmark numbers, so treat that as a claim.

Framekit has three lifetime tiers. Here’s how the plan data lays them out:
| Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price (list price) | $99 ($228) | $199 ($1,140) | $399 ($7,020) |
| Sites | 1 | 5 | 15 |
| AI credits (one-time) | 600 | 2,000 | 4,500 |
| Custom fonts | No | Yes | Yes |
| Unlimited forms | No | Yes | Yes |
| Storage | 300 GB | 300 GB | 2 TB |
Ignore the list prices. A $7,020 anchor tells you nothing about what the product is worth.
The limits matter more. Credits are a one-time pool, and the listing doesn’t say what an AI action costs, so we can’t tell how far 600 will stretch. Tier 1 has no custom fonts, which is an odd gap for a portfolio builder. For a single creative site, Tier 2 looks like the realistic starting point. One more thing: our notes put the deal’s end date at 2026-10-27, which has already passed, so confirm it’s still on sale.
SKT keeps it simple. One tier, $160, down from a $199 list price, and the deal isn’t stackable. You must redeem within 60 days. SKT’s own FAQ prices a single theme at around $39, complex templates around $48, the all-themes bundle around $69, and the lifetime package around $199.
So you’re saving $39 against SKT’s own lifetime price. Against the $69 bundle, the lifetime deal pays off in a little over two years, but only if that bundle renews at the same price. The FAQ says standard themes renew annually and doesn’t give the renewal amount. If you need one or two themes, the lifetime package is overkill.
This is where SKT pulls ahead. The listing describes the themes as GPL licensed, white-label friendly and usable on unlimited websites, and the FAQ confirms a theme can go on multiple domains, client projects included. If you build sites for other people, there is no per-site cap to hit.
Framekit limits you to 1, 5 or 15 sites. Even Tier 3 is a ceiling an active agency could reach. The listing also says nothing about white-label rights, so we can’t say whether you could hand a site to a client under your own branding. Framekit is listed as best for web design agencies, but the stronger fit looks like a freelancer with a handful of sites.
The tradeoff is the work behind each site. With SKT, you own hosting, updates and plugin conflicts. With Framekit, the platform handles them, which is a real saving when a client calls at 6 pm.
SKT’s FAQ says it does not process refunds because the themes are digital products, and that all sales are final. The listing doesn’t explain how that fits with AppSumo’s own purchase terms. It also doesn’t name the included plugins, say how fast support replies, or show how often themes are updated. A 420+ count says nothing about quality.
Framekit’s gaps are different. It has one AppSumo review, a perfect 5.00, which is too little to lean on. The listing offers no independent proof of the AI’s output quality, and we haven’t tested it. The FAQ mentions that subscriptions can be cancelled anytime, but that says nothing about the lifetime deal. The free plan is the best risk control, since it lets you judge the templates and AI sections before paying.
Buy Framekit if you’re a photographer, filmmaker or artist with one or a few sites, and the gallery and video review tools match how you work with clients. Start on the free plan and expect to land on Tier 2.

Buy SKT if you already build on WordPress, take on several sites a year, and want to stop paying for each theme. Go in knowing there’s no refund, and test two or three demos on your own hosting before you build anything for a client.
Framekit review · WordPress Themes Bundle by SKT Themes review
Realistically, yes. The bundle is themes and plugins, so you still need WordPress and hosting. The 1-click demo import helps you get started, but setup and upkeep are on you. Framekit handles hosting for you.
For one portfolio, Tier 2 at $199 is probably the sensible pick. Tier 1 at $99 has no custom fonts or unlimited forms, and it allows one site. Tier 3 at $399 adds 15 sites, 2 TB of storage and a 1% product sale fee.
SKT's FAQ says it doesn't process refunds and all sales are final. The Framekit listing doesn't state a refund policy for the lifetime deal, so check the AppSumo page before you buy.
